  1. I've tried every direction with no change, GMC screen shows charging but it actually discharges the phone. Since the charger was replaced under warranty, I chalk it up to the phone being the problem. Other brand/model phones seem to work fine.
  2. I was hoping someone may have come across a fix. First truck with a wireless charger, figured I should be able use it but can definitely get by without it.
  3. I have and keep checking for phone updates with no improvement.
  4. From day one, my Google Pixel 8 Pro phone will not charge in my '25 Sierra wireless charger. Tried moving it around in all positions with no change. It shows charging on the dash screen icon, initially shows charging on the phone for a few seconds then blinks and repeats. End result is it actually discharges the phone. Also tried a Pixel 10 Pro, no difference and no phone case(bare). These same phones work as advertised in a home wireless charger and Verizon in-store wireless charger. Verizon has been no help. I've been to two dealers and get the same response, charges techs phone fine(non Google phone). The second dealer even replaced the charger under warranty with no improvement. I even started a service ticket through GM, end result was them checking with my dealer and telling me the problem is on Google's end. Has anyone been able to get their Pixel phone to work in the truck wireless charger?
  5. So after some online searching, it appears to be a known issue with Google Pixel phones and Google is actively working on resolving this under their next update to be rolled out sometime this December(2025). It's just weird other chargers work fine but not the truck charging pad.
  6. I have a '25 Sierra SLT and when placing my Google Pixel 8(Android) phone on the pad, it indicated charging on the main display but actually discharges the phone with no apps running. I've tried centering the phone, placing it the opposite direction, etc. Had it to two different dealers and they report it charges the tech's phone. Recently at the second dealer, I demonstrated to the service manager. They ended up replacing the charger with no change/improvement. My phone has an Otterbox case but you get the same results with my fiance's Google Pixel 10(newer version) with NO case. Now the phone charges just fine on an older Verizon induction charger and a Amazon induction charger I recently purchased for the bedroom night stand. It doesn't make sense. Has anyone else ran into this with a Google Pixel phone?
  7. The instructions call out to verify if circuit is present in (X5 Brown) cavity 10, circuit 1317(BN/WH). If so, this eliminates the need to run the jumper to the UEC, the rest still applies.
  8. Yup, dealer has to enable them. Make sure you have the GM part number & serial number(label) from the box for the dealer. GM was being real sticklers with my dealer, and wouldn't give them the ability to flash the truck without s/n, had to reschedule. Must be getting real protective to copyright infringement. You'll need to aim them once they are working. Mine were pointing at the ground. Phillips screw on the bottom back dial them in. For reference, measure the center height of the fog light to the ground and put some tape on a wall at that same height. The truck should be 25' from the wall to align.
  9. The green fog lamp cluster indicator comes on when they are on(downward angled light symbol). The daytime running light indicator will also come on when you turn the fog lights on if it is during the daylight.
  10. Figured it out, there are secondary locks on the sides of the block. Pop the one out closest to the wire your working on and release the pin. Wire connector comes out easy peasy once you know how, no special tools needed! Too bad I had to return the fog light kit because the one light assy had a broken piece of plastic inside, and they were backordered for a replacement. So I returned for credit. No lights but know how to wire them. Wth
  11. So I'm not the only one. I'll get back at it once I have more time. Never had this much trouble with other connectors, must tighter tolerances and the right extraction makes the difference.
  12. Adding the factory foglights to my '19 GMC Sierra. I'm at the point where it comes to removing the wire connector from the body 2 in the UEC. I'm having a hell of time releasing present B3 wire connector socket from the block. I know it has to lock tabs on either side but unable to get it free. Tried using tiny allen wrenches, paperclips with no luck. What's the trick???
