  1. @bigwhiskey how many turns did you give the torsion keys? Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  2. Agree. There is a kit that can relocate the DEF tank to either the spare tire location, or inside the toolbox. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

  4. Do you fill the bags at home before leaving? Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  5. I have a 19 GMC Sierra CC 4x4 HD. It has the All Terrain package. I've always leveled my previous trucks, but we recently purchased a 5th wheel. My concern is being nose high after leveling and hooking up to the 5th wheel. Is anyone running a leveled truck and also pulling a 5th wheel? Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  6. Bye-bye "sport bar"

Rocnrol- don't get me wrong, when the bar was on, the truck was getting all kinds of looks [emoji108]. But, we plan to pull a 5th wheel with it, and a crew cab short bed needs all the room we can get. Love the stance of your truck BTW! Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  7. Bye-bye "sport bar"

Certainly can be done. On my half ton I bought a trac rac and cut 3" out of it to sit just above the cab, thus to not look full contractor all the time. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  8. Bye-bye "sport bar"

I had to crawl under the truck and Chase the 3rd brake light wire down. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  9. Bye-bye "sport bar"

When I took it back to the dealership, I asked the parts kid if people actually order these things? He said, "all the time! Can't believe you don't want it." I laughed, the truck has the 5th wheel prep in the bed, which will be used. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  10. I recently traded in my 2015 1500 Silverado Z71 4x4 CC for a 2019 2500 Sierra All Terrain 4x4 CC w/ DMAX. After looking at every option and combination GM offers with the Silverado 2500 and the Sierra 2500, this is what we ended up with. Makes zero sense that to get a trailing prep you have to get chrome mirror caps and door handle covers, but whatever. I'm not usually one to buy appearance packages anyway, but this one came with a lot of premium items to include the Z71 package. The "sport bar"....yeah. When sitting in the dealership talking with the young lady sales associate, I asked her if she remembered when "sport bars" we're cool in the 90's? She kinda just looked at me. Turns out she is 19. So, I'm going to guess that this is a cool thing these days. Anyway, told her if she wanted to close the deal the dealership had to take back the "sport bar" and give me a toolbox. She agreed, so here we are. Would you believe that thing is an $800 option!? Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  11. Here is the NADA. I was asking $29,900 on Private Sale. My let go was $28,500. I was offered as low as $24k from a dealer. I pitted two dealers owned by the same company across the street from each other against each other. One offered $27,500 at Chevy. I told GMC if they can do $28,500, they have the deal. 12. I traded in my 2015 Silverado Z71 4x4 CC 5.3 on this 2019 Sierra All Terrain 4x4 CC 6.6 DMAX. We plan to upgrade our camper from a travel trailer to a 5th wheel. Note, the "sport bar" is already gone. Replaced with a low profile UWS matte black toolbox. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  13. Disappointed with 2019

I think that was a good call. The sun roof in the HC is like and older style that slides into a pocket inside the headliner of the backseat. Whereas the F150 has a retractable screen leaving much more head room. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

Jad- do you have the sunroof in your truck? Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
  15. Disappointed with 2019

I agree. I stopped by a dealer to take a look. The only trim they had on the lot was a top of the line High Country. The exterior is always subjective. I couldn't care less about a carbon fiber bed or the bigger bumper steps. The electric swinging side steps were kinda cool, but I see that being one of the first things to break. The interior was a big let down. The seats actually seemed more stiff than my 15. The center stack looked less impressive, probably because they eliminated many of the buttons or made them smaller so there looks like more plastic space. One of the first things I noticed was the area under the steering wheel looks like it came out of a 99 Jeep liberty. It's nearly vertical and just a giant piece of plastic. The High Country did have a sunroof, but it was small and the real estate it took up in the back seat roof to allow it to slide was way too much for an average adult to be in the back. My main point to stop and look was that the backseat was supposed to be bigger. It maybe bigger but it didn't seem like it. Trucks all have that under the seat storage now which to me is a waste b/c I want a flat floor so the dogs can ride in the back seat. The in seat back storage is really a joke if you have kids, the car seats will be in the way. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk
