  1. I already have the center ones pointing straight back, driver's vent at the window (I don't need the air blowing on my face), and the passenger vent is wherever my wife/kids, whoever sat there last, leave it (until I detail the inside of the truck, then straight back).
  2. I would have stepped up from a DC to a CC, but that's me. You moved into a Tundra, and another guy just moved in from a Tundra.
  3. Welcome to the club!!! Speaking of "club," join us in the "Black Truck Club."
  4. HA! That's where I've been placing my iPhone, and I've been debating on getting the magnetic charging/data cable. I had a CD slot/magnet phone holder, but moved it to my daughter's Cruze, while I was driving it back/forth to work, haven't moved it back yet. She finally went back to work this week. Actually, I'm looking for a different one, a better fit. Going to add the plate to my daughter's iPhone tonight, so she can use it.
  5. I've seen those, have contemplated getting a pair, but they "want to feel it on their faces." Not that what I'm looking at doing will suffice. But I have a secondary idea for it, to cool my CB and Scanner(s), in my center console.
  6. I'm looking at modifying my center console for AC to the backseat. I'm looking for a way to tap into the AC ducts up front and run them through the center console. Did a basic search, didn't see anything.
  7. My wife and I run both of our phones, mine via USB and hers via Bluetooth. We do the same thing in her MB. Front seats are the only ones that my wife and I allow to connect to the radio. The ONLY exception to this rule, is when those in the front seats want to listen to the movie that the back seats are watching.
  8. I saw one, they put a daylight bright LED strip (or two) across/under the front edge of the hood, with a contact switch on one side of the engine bay (close the hood, light turns off). I think that I also saw one or two listed in the "$50 and under Modifications" thread.
  9. I was looking at removing mine this coming weekend. 15º is an acceptable increase in operation temperature. Have you noticed a decrease in the transmission temperature, after removing the airdam? I think that it would allow more airflow across the tranny/gearbox, allowing it to operate at a cooler temperature.
  10. I have decided to go a different route with this project. NO LONGER LOOKING!!
  11. @JimCost2014, Same suggestion as @VanguardK2 made? I may just go for the replacement part.
  12. There is at least one j-box under the bed that you could tap into. I know some of the guys have tapped into that for their bed lights. When my dad did the shell on his 72 Datsun PU, he used a trailer 4-wire harness, with the connector near the shell where the wires were hanging, but this was for the clearance lights, interior cargo light, and exterior hatch light. Even when he bought my 91 Nissan King Cab, he did the same thing, or had the place that he bought the shell from connect it. Neither one had third brake light, I don't think.
  13. I've let it sit for a month, unfolded, and it would still do it. When I took the above pictures, it was 3 months. I'm going to leave it all summer, and probably into the winter, to see what happens.
  14. Lucky you, I didn't even have my '18 for 3 months (don't even think I had 1500 miles on it, yet), and my wife scuffed the right hand side of the bed with our daughter's camera lens. ? I've tried to buff it out, but it's still there.
  15. Did you wire them or use a diode? If you wired them, then your reverse lights will also come on with your cargo lights, and likewise, your highs will come on with your fogs. With a wire jumping between the two (of each set) there is nothing to stop it from working in the other direction. Whereas, if you used a diode, depending on where the striped end is at, they will only work one-way.
  16. Max, If I stumble across the one from my 2015 Silverado, you can have it, just cover S/H.
  17. Just went out and took a few more pictures of the problem, and my temp-fix (goes back to the above as soon as I open/close it). Slider closed with "issue." ? Slider open with "issue." ? Slider closed again, "issue" worse. ? Slider closed, after pulling the gasket/seal "reset." ? If I reopen the slider, the "issue" returns. ?
  18. Don't know when it started doing it, but the driver's side seal/gasket, on the rear slider, has a 3" fold-over about halfway up. I'll post a picture of it tonight, after my lunch break. Thoughts/Suggestions on how to fix it?
  19. You mentioned cutting the front. Looks like you may rub in the back with a heavy load or a good bounce.
