  1. That's what my neighbor has, chrome grill.
  2. I did mine almost a year ago, LOVE IT!!! Got mine from the local dealership. I think that the 14-15 is different than the 16-18. A neighbor/friend of mine has one on his 14, it doesn't shine as bright as mine does. It may be that my neighbor has a first gen illuminated bow tie. Just a FYI: You will have to drill a hole thru the grill, mine was off-centered a bit.
  3. Something that the salesman at the dealership showed me, was when you're hooking up to a (pull behind) trailer, open the tailgate and loop one of the cables over the post. Puts the tailgate/backup camera, if equipped, right over the ball. He had shown it to me to line up the trailer and ball, but you can do that just fine with the tailgate closed.
  4. Yeah, your "non-striped end" is NOT in far enough. I used the smallest cross-tip jewelers screwdriver I have to work a path into each slot, beside the pin. Run the lead down the same corner that you made the path. Run the lead as straight as possible to get it in. Yours looks weaved through the wires.
  5. Not sure, but they have different part numbers, my guess would be "NO."
  6. George, Post a picture of your BCM, please. I run 1N4004 diode from hi-beam (stripe, BCM-BRN-18) to fogs (BCM-BRN-10). For yours, stripe end in 22, and other end in 10.
  7. They wash it out a little, but the brightness alone on the screen, kills more than the brightness of the lights.
  8. No buildings/houses, no power lines, pretty much NO man-made stuff close-by (my rule). When I lived in California City, I went to the empty field (red marker/flag) behind my house (grey marker). Nearest structure was 550ft, and no power lines. The next time I tune the antenna on my truck, I'm likely to drive out to the middle of Rosamond Lakebed, north of Rosamond Blvd.
  9. So the rain was your fault. ?
  10. I wish. My Sunday was a dump run, fix the spa, and grocery run day. Still had a inch of dirt/rock in the bed after the dump run. Swept it out this afternoon, before rolling into work. The drive to work took most of the rest of it out. I have 9 little/tiny piles at the front of the bed, now.
  11. Pulling the first of the four shrubs. IMG_1583.mp4
  12. Ripped out a dead tree and 4 shrubs. Tree was planted in 2014. See the tree across the street in the upper right corner? This tree should be that big or bigger. IMG_1581.mp4 Pulling the "stump" out. IMG_1580.mp4 Shrubs in bed for dump run tomorrow morning. The tree is all cut/broken up and in the trash can, with the smallest of the 4 shrubs.
  13. There's a lot of reading, but there are some inexpensive things to do...... If you look in my album(s), you find my list(s) of things that I've done, am working on, and have planned to do to my 2015 ? and my 2018 ?.
  14. That looks like your flag pole would chip/damage your grill. Besides, you have stake holes on the bed for that.
  15. I'm looking at getting a license plate camera with rearview mirror display, finding a way to have constant power to it, will help with lane changes, as well.
  16. That helped on mine, but VERY LITTLE. There is a pin that you need to pull from the back of the unit.
  17. Think that's as far as mine goes too.

  19. Yeah, noticed that with the ones that I installed too. It's a little odd that the red lights of the brakes clear it up some.

  22. Here's the video that I used to figure out how I'm going to tie my scanner and my hidden antennas into my radio, in the near future. There's (supposedly) an antenna connection under the dash panel around the daylight sensor, along the windshield.
  23. I'm looking at Plasti-Dipping what little chrome my ME has with either "Night Strike Grey," "Gull Grey," or black. My only chrome is the "Z71" on the grill and front doors, and the tailgate badging.
