  1. Well, yeah, that's to be expected of parking lights.
  2. Yes, to the left headlight assembly/harness, easiest one to access. Little bit of a pain to disconnect, but possible. One step of caution, be very careful when you insert the emblem wires into the connector, it is a royal PITA to undo and put them in the correct positions.
  3. The kit I received, had a plug and harness with it.
  4. I knew that from my 2015. If you want to have fogs on all of the time, you have to jumper them with a diode. Also, if you're driving during the day, and turn on the fogs, all of your lights come on like you're driving at night.
  5. He was commenting on mine, 84129741. You can find them cheaper on Amazon ($275), than the stealerships ($325).
  6. From the album: Ravenkeeper's 2018 Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71 (4WD) Midnight Edition

So, yesterday afternoon/evening, I finally installed my illuminated bowtie. After ordering it on 11 November 2019, and waiting for a little over 2 months, having it arrive at the stealership, having it get returned, reordering it, only to find out that they had one in supply stock this whole time.

  9. Installed my illuminated bowtie this afternoon/evening, and was playing with the lights on my truck, to see how it worked, let alone if it worked. Discovered that the "fogs" do NOT come on unless the engine is running.
  10. Those look like the same ones that I got. Had/Have them on both of my trucks, my "late" 2015 and my current 2018. When I put them on my 2015, I had to wash and blow out the dirt that was in them, after . I had less than 100 miles on my 2018 when I installed them, and zero off-road miles/time.
  11. Neither of which may classify as "high miles," but..... Bought my 2015 in December 12, 2015. When it was totaled on July 1, 2018, it had 53,XXX. Only serious maintenance was tires and new front brake pads (at 50K). Bought my 2018 in September 15, 2018, 21,400ish as of today, 16 months of ownership.
  12. So funny story..... I ordered mine on 11NOV2019, and had never received a phone call to let me know that it had arrived. On 03JAN2020, while I was waiting to pick my wife's car up from being serviced (another long story that I'm still too fired up to get into ?????), I went over to the parts department, and they informed me that it had not only arrived, but HAD BEEN RETURNED!!! ? They reordered it that day, told me that it would be there in 2 days (EXPRESS SHIP), and that they would call me when it arrives. Last Friday, I called, and it had not arrived yet. ?? Saturday (11JAN2020), I happen to be running errands in the area, swung in to see what %$#@ was going on with it, "it was still in transit" (location unknown), Department Manager (he's also in charge of the Service Department) was informed that his presence was requested in Parts, I demanded a refund of both my money and my GM points that I used to pay for half of it, and he said that he would see what he could do, worse case scenario, he would write me a check for what I paid and for the cash value of the points spent. Their DM calls me on Monday, while I'm at work (no cell phone zone), to inform me that he has "great news" and to call him back at my convenience. Tuesday, I called him back, while I was driving to work, ? mine wasn't there yet, BUT they did an inventory last month, and THEY HAD ONE IN THEIR "WAREHOUSE" THIS WHOLE TIME!!!! ? Their DM said that he was handing to the UPS driver, while I was on the phone with him, and that it would be at my house the next day. Wednesday night, when I got home, it was sitting on the dining room table. I'm going to try and install it tomorrow before work, or on Saturday (latest).
  13. Last I heard, it's only in Canada, for now/so far. I'm sure that if enough USA truck owners have the same issue, it'll make its way into the USA.
  14. That's why, for now, I'm sitting with an Antenna Delete, with mine. I'm always listening to my MP3, IRadio, Pandora, or XM (when it's FREE). But when/if I get my scanner installed, I'll need an antenna for it.
  15. There's another way to do it in the "less than $50" mod thread. Took a 12" antenna coax, 2 eyelets, a nut, and a bolt to relocate the whip similarly, without moving the base portion of the antenna or up the A-Pillar (but will have to shorten the whip). Reception is crap for FM. On my 15, I relocated the antenna under the hood, along the right fender, and on my 18, removed the whip and capped the hole. The round grommets are still in both beds, got a suitable sub to cover the hole from Lowe's. I'm looking at a hidden antenna or two, to keep the "clean look," and connecting it/them under the dash cover next to the windshield. Lowes does sale these in black. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-2-Pack-0-75-in-White-Plastic-Hole-Plug/3013239
  16. One of these days soon, I'll be doing something similar, redoing our laundry room, bottom 4' of one wall and the opposite side of the wall (in the hallway) are water wicked from a flood from an overflowing sink.
  17. Demand that they give you a loner, so that you can get to/from work while they have it.
  18. Along the same line as Tow/Haul Mode, do you have ANYTHING plugged into either the 7-Pin or the 4-Pin connectors? If the truck thinks for any reason that you are towing, it will not utilize the Auto-Stop feature. ALSO, make sure that your trailer brake control module, if equipped, is zeroed out.
  19. I'll look into it, this weekend. Otherwise, I'll have to pull all of the songs up to the surface and redo my playlists.
  20. That may explain why if I start a playlist, after I shut off the truck and start it back up, it will not continue where I left off.
  21. Was going to pop a couple bushes and a tree out of my front yard, BUT my tow rope is MIA. ?
  22. There's a thread that talks about disengaging a wire/pin on the back of the infotainment screen to make it dim as much as the back lighting on the dash. They adapted from the following link to accomplish this. https://www.coloradofans.com/forums/201-2nd-gen-electronics-audio-lighting/403329-fixing-2018-reverse-camera-display-too-bright-non-functional-dimmer.html
  23. On my '18, short "burst" of HIGHs (turn signal forward and back to neutral, less than 1 second) turns my Intellabeams ON/OFF, and while the Intellabeam HIGHs are ON, engaging my HIGHs (even momentarily) turns them off. Flash to Pass does not turn them on/off. Other than that, I'd dig through your vehicle settings.
