  1. Just had my rear bumper upgrade Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  2. Was a few days ago but, added Alpine amp and Alpine 10" sub. Plus some Black Oak led lights, front and back.
  3. I have the OEM skid plates mounted on mine and my wife's High Country's. They are aluminium but are thick enough to help a lot. Have had the trucks off road a lot and skid plates have held up and do help out. There are to many electrical parts behind that thin plastic plate for me, so I bought them right after getting the trucks.
  4. Swapped my amazon led bar for a better one and added some pods. Its insane how much light they put out. I do a lot of driving in the country and on my properties, plus these will help a lot when we head to Big Bend this year. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  5. Added some led's to the truck bed. Attached some velcro to the back of the lights so they just stick to the carpet on the bottom side of the hard tonneau cover Without lights With lights on Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  6. Im not sure about under the hood, but under driverside dash there is a black box with wire cluster in it. One of the plugs is empty and it has switched power, constant, and a ground. I ran my wire from the relay into the cab and used those wires to power the illuminated rocker switch. I bought a wired plug from a member on here. All I had to do is plug it in and wire the switch to it. I will see if I can find his contact info or you could order the parts and make one yourself. I chose to take the easy way out, lol. I will go out in a few and get a picture of the panel under dash so you can see what Im talking about.
  7. That depends more on the dealer relationship. Hopefully it will at least bring to there attention that there is a problem with 8 speeds and make them want to look into it. Cant hurt to try, if they won't then try another dealer, if there is one close enough. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  8. http://gm.oemdtc.com/492/transmission-adaptive-functions-and-correcting-low-mileage-harsh-shifts-2015-cadillac-chevrolet-gmc http://gm.oemdtc.com/6597/pip5337e-shake-or-shudder-on-acceleration-excessive-engine-rpm-fluctuation-between-30-and-65-mph-2015-2016-cadillac-chevrolet-gmc The other is on the corvette forum, I will see if I can find that link also http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/tech/knowledgebase/article/2016-corvette-service-bulletin-delayed-engagement-after-sitting-with-engine-off-1275.html Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  9. Just had mine fixed on 2015 8 speed. Replaced torque converter, stator support assembly, flushed the trans and replaced filter, reprogrammed tcm, and did adaptive relearn according to them. Mine didnt have the shake but rpms fluctuating at steady speed on flat ground and harsh shifts as well as delayed shift onto reverse then delayed shift into drive. It shifts great now and no delay anymore. Rpms are rock solid. I had to print the tsb's and make sure the trans tech got them. Only problem I had after that is the dealership had mine and my wifes truck mixed up in there system. So they ordered parts for her vin but she has the 6 speed. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  10. With the stock offset you can fit pretty big tires. I have seen some post's where guys ran 35's with factory wheels. He said no rubbing, so can probably get 33's or 34's on it with room to spare. I will find out soon as my wife wants some with more grip on her 2015. The guys at the tire shop I use will let use try a couple of sizes to see what fits without rubbing so maybe a shop near you will do the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Oh ok, i didnt look at BFG. Then pretty much no difference. So just comes down to whats available I guess. I dont tow a lot with the 1500, I have a Duramax for the heavy work but for guys that do tow then the 305 would be the way to go for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. You're right, its only a half inch taller and wider which is nothing, but Discount tire near me had the 34x12.50 in stock plus the 34's are KO2's and the 305's were the KO and I prefer the sidewall of the KO2's. I wanted it to be as wide as i could any way, because of the fender flares. You cant go wrong with either tire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Thats what another member said and hopefully thats all it is. Just want to make sure because I'm about to be in West Texas with my wife and there isn't any help for miles. I will post what the dealer tells me this Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. https://vimeo.com/190696634 The first big rpm jump is when it shifts into 8th gear. Then you can see the needle start bouncing. Its better or worse at certain speeds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. In reverse if im backing down a hill, not at all in forward. I have a 4" lift. I think if you go with a zero offset or closer to factory it wouldnt rub at all. I went with -12 because of the fender flares.
  16. So far I dont feel anything in the truck. I only started to notice it because the exhaust I installed you can hear the exhaust note change. So then i started watching the tach and speedo to see if something was wrong. Once you level the speed and are cruising the tach starts to bounce up and down. Just slightly but you can see it. I will try to shoot a short video tomorrow and see if I can post it. I tried with AFM on and with it off and does the same thing. I have an appointment to take the truck in on Saturday so I will see what the dealer tells me. I have read posts from people with more serious issues than mine and there dealer tells them its normal, so Im not getting my hopes up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. I do have the V4 turned off. If i keep it at a steady speed is when the needle jumps up and down. I haven't gotten on the freeway and checked it out yet. I heard it in the exhaust first and then started to pay attention to the rpm once I heard it and saw it jumping up and down. Its not a lot but its moving. I dont know if its its been doing it the whole time I have owned the truck or just started because you cant really feel. Just hear it then see it in the gage. Figured I would have dealer check it any way. Im sure they will say its normal at guys have had some obvious problems and dealers seem to blow them off, but worth a shot. 18. 18x9 -12 offset wheels with 34x12.50 BFG KO2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. I have have noticed that my needle in the RPM gage is fluctuating. I cant feel the truck surging but I can hear it in the exhaust. Has anyone else experience this issue? Truck seems to run fine otherwise. It does it when I get up to speed like 50 or so and I level off and stay at that speed for a bit, then needle starts to pulse up and down and I can hear the exhaust note change.
