  1. Quick question for anyone with a ‘21 Sierra 3500 Denali Duramax Short Bed SRW . . I need a pic of the door sticker that shows what the gooseneck tongue weight is or at least confirmation off your actual sticker. Current owner of a ‘20 Denali 2500 Duramax 6.5’ bed. - was about to buy a fifth wheel trailer and no one could validate if my truck could actually tow this beast until I got to the parts dept of the RV dealer and were ordering a fifth wheel hitch. Several GMC dealers were worthless in this endeavor and currently no 3500’s in this configuration anywhere near by to validate myself by looking inside the door. GMC website and trailering guides don’t call this out either and with so much unvalidated info on the web, I don’t trust much out there. current truck is 2,775 lbs . . Just need to know what the equivalent 3500 states. thank you in advance to anyone that could answer this simple question.
  2. Ok, so you would still have the cables visible around the edge of the pillar and going down into the side panel, the same as if you used their suction cup mount? I was hoping they may go down the vent hole and work their way around somehow for a cleaner look. Thanks for the response!

  4. @CNY_AT4 - curious how the wires for a Banks iDash would route from this mount..do you have any pictures of your single pod you could post that would show the front and back? Thanks!
  5. Sorry, sold them a few months ago.
  6. I did the same Readylift kit you have but with Bilstein 5100’s, which seem a little stiff and jar the truck on anything more than smooth pavement. What Fox shocks did you do and how’s the ride?
  7. Had AMP steps on my 2015 Denali 1500 and no problems with them for 5 years. One of the first things I immediately did on the 2500 was ripping off the park benches and going AMP again.
  8. Fabtech 6" lift kit, Nitto Terra Grappler G2 35x12.5 tires and Fuel Rampage 20x10 wheels
  9. For MRT..... have you had any experience with pulling the stock Magneride suspension out of a recent Sierra Denali and replacing with an after market shock better suited to a 6" lift with 35x12.5x20 tires? No one local has done this yet and there are unanswered questions as to what will happen once the magnetic shock sensors are unhooked . . . i.e error lights on dash, etc. Thanks, M

  12. I went through this about a month ago and was initially thinking the Fabtech 4" lift but found out the wheels I really wanted were too big, so went to a 6" kit. For the 4" kit you are going to need 33" tires and wheels - if you are thinking 20's - need to be 20x9....the Fuels I chose were 20x10 with a -19 offset and trying to squeeze them in with a 4" kit would have either required a lot of trimming or just wouldn't fit at all. The Fabtech kit will relocate the Magneride sensors. The ride afterwards wasn't bad but the shop that did mine is going to tweak them a little more next week as there is still a little bit more bounce in the ride thsn I like, almost like the Magneride system thinks it's compressed some. Hope this helps.
  13. Hey Johnstone, When you did your 4" lift, were you able to re-position the ride sensors AND also did something electronically to relearn the shocks? I've had mine back for a week now and although still not a bad ride, I'm wondering how to find out if my sensors are back in the optimal spot and if magneride is performing as it should. Any idea how to know if your sensors are in the correct position and not making the system think it is loaded and stiffening up? Thanks, Michael
  14. I got the K1099, which i believe uses the coilover
  15. I've lurked around the forum the past 6 months looking for a way to level my '15 Denali w/ Magneride and the past few weeks have given me a reason to join and share some info in I case it helps anyone. Went outside one morning several weeks ago to find this The police told me several other trucks were hit in my neighborhood, and we live in a decent place so my stock wheels/tires must have been on someone's shopping list. With insurance check in hand, it was time to lift. I had been planning on the 4" Fabtech lift kit (which called for 33" tires) as it was only one I had found that was Magneride compatible and had also found a set of Fuel wheels that my wife and I both liked. After working with a great local custom shop, we found out that my favorite wheels were 20x10 and would more than likely not work at all, or require major trimming, with the 4" kit - 20x9 are better suited. Not wanting to give up the Fuel Rampage wheels, I went all out with the Fabtech 6" kit and Nitto Terra Grappler G2 35x12.5 tires. Picked the finished project up a few days ago and was amazingly impressed...at first it seemed taller than you would expect a 6" lift to do (even with the additional height from the larger tires) but I am loving it after driving it around for a few days. As others have noted in this thread, it will never drive/ride like it did when stock but I am impressed with how well it still rides with the larger tires and lift. Hopefully this might help someone to make a decision if you are on the fence....go big...you won't be sorry. Ran out of space for more pics...can add to another post if anyone is interested.
