  12. Well.....Metal would certainly be a poor choice for anyone worried about heat. Metal is a better conductor of heat than plastic, making the plastic box a better choice for a high heat location. Stay close....the intelligence might rub off lol
  13. Plastic battery boxes are designed to withstand high heat just like all the other Plastic under the hood. Most intake manifolds are now plastic. As far as fluids boiling. That's kinda funny really. Washer fluid is in a plastic jug right in front of where the box would be. Doesn't boil. Brake fluid in plastic resevior doesn't boil. 14. I don't drive around with any of that stuff on a regular basis but I like to have it with me on a trip. So it wouldn't be exposed to such heat on a regular basis. Don't forget it gets pretty hot in the bed of a truck as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  15. Snap on jump pack and small craftsmen compressor.
  16. This past weekend while 30 minutes from the nearest gas station I was comforted by the thought of my jump pack, air compressor and tire plugs. New trucks still get nails in tires!
  17. Installed the Morimoto LED Foglights purchased from the group buy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  18. Why don't you just remove the diode and go to a different dealer
  19. I was worried about possible mileage loss but with AT3S on my 20s. Lower valence removed and bed packed full of camping gear I just recently got 19.3 during a trip north. So I'm still happy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  20. I removed the lower valence. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  21. Installed the emblem vinyls I got from the forum store. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  22. Can anyone tell me what years and models of Cadillac the cover is on. Dealers around here are telling me 100 bucks so id like to try some junkyards Thanks
  23. So.............have you tried a system with the valve in place? If nobody has I don't mind being the first. I'm no engineer but I do have common sense and it seems to me that the valve would have to make some sort of difference. The valve is quite logical really, and obviously needs to be in place unless you disable the AFM.
  24. Has anyone tried to replace just the muffler and leave the AFM valve intact. Shouldn't this take care of the drone issue?
  25. I have the Bakflip and I love it. No it is not 100% waterproof but it is the best looking, lowest profile, and easy to use covers I have seen. The leaks that I have are so small I haven't even tried to do anything about it. I can put luggage in the bed and although a little water gets in when it rains I have a drop in liner so not even the bottoms of bags get wet. And I have gotten more comments on my cover than the truck itself so there's that.
