  1. Thank you! It is rarely that clean though! Hahaha!
  2. I have relied on and trusted Mobil1 for years... this is for sure disappointing... I change my filter every time I change my oil (might be wasting money??) ... I’ll check into the others. Thanks!
  3. So the new design is worse... should I switch?
  4. Go to change my oil this morning and notice the new oil filter is significantly smaller than the one I had on hand... I’m sure it is a cost cutting measure, but does the smaller filter limit or perform as good as the larger? Anyone have noticed the same thing?
  5. thank you! that is helpful...around here, all i can find is 'primitive' camp sites...they are at state parks, but its a mowed spot, with a picnic table and a grill and a concrete slab...not 'dispersed camping'!!
  6. ah!!! i was just looking at the pics and didnt notice you posted both, my bad! thanks for the info!
  7. This is awesome! is this public or private land? this is what i want to with my kids...take them in the middle of nowhere to go camping...i cant seem to find that around here...
  8. how long have you had the eibach kit? how do you like it? (also did you stick with Factory arms, or upgrade?)
  9. did you get new/aftermarket control arms or just stick with factory? i thought the lowest was 2.0"
  10. have you had the Eibach kit installed long enough to be able to give it a complete review? I think this kit is under rated and under used....
  11. I had to replace the #8 cylinder a while back, and just the other day i felt my truck was acting similar to what it was...but no engine light yet...I am going to tr the cleaner again...but if it is like last time, it will have minor misfires for a while...then the light will come on (cold rough idle) and then will pretty much go out...this seems like a pretty common problem...any write ups or acknowledgements from GM? 71k miles, this has been my worst GM truck out of the three new trucks i have bought...
  12. That's it...digital! not sure how much better they are, but they sure have thrown a wrinkle into the aftermarket pool of availability...
  13. Thanks Mike, I appreciate the link...unfortunately, they made a change in either 2017 or 2018 and the newer models (even though they look identical) wont work with the slightly older models... I'm sure the change was insignificant, other than crating a new model and a pain for the owners of the +2017! haha!
  14. i'm sorry you have to live in Norman...yes, the brewery is good....we just grabbed 3 large growlers...only had one so far, but its good!
  15. we were there just this weekend for a takeout order! did you hit the brewery about a block south?
  16. how do you like the ride? there arent enough reviews on this forum for the Eibach pro truck set up...
  17. you'll get a lot of recommendations for Bilstiens...i would also recommend you check out Eibach...they are American made and if/when you get to the front their adjustable front shocks go a little higher than bilstiens and will be closer to true level...
  18. thanks for your response...and although i agree with most/all of what you said, I would be comparing the same tire, same tread, just a slightly larger version...so you are right...people get passionate about their tires (for some reason, im not really sure)...and everyone has an opinion...my opinion is i know the Michelin Defender is an ugly tire, but it just performs as good if not better than any other tire in that category...so i am getting that for my wife's vehicle because she doesnt care about looks or anything else...i am just comparing stock size to a slightly larger version...
  19. this is great insight, thank you!
  20. thanks...yes, i wasn't expecting better mpg's...the ROI i was referring too was better ride, better, handling, etc...i should have been more clear...the 275/65/18 size suggested above is really was i was asking about...just a little larger tire (nothing crazy) would it be worth the cost difference for presumably a better (maybe even safer?) ride...
  21. i like those, but my wife calls anything that is not a highway tire, a 'man tire' and she doesnt went them! haha! i threaten her that i will put a level/lift on it and put some all terrains on it...and she just scowls at me! haha! thanks for the info on the tire size...it is about $150 difference (for the set) if i go with the larger size...(michelin defenders)
  22. i actually haven't got them yet...so thank you! haven't done a ton of driving due to the lockdown...so still on the back burner...so that size, no rubbing or anything?
  23. when the AC went out...was it a gradual decrease or a drastic cliff if you will, and one day it works and the next it doesnt?
