2017 6.2. CAI only, everything else is stock (currently 6800 miles). No tune or Range. It's under low, cruising throttle, maybe 1600-2300rpms. Like you said, just giving light throttle to compensate for an incline. If I dig in it I don't hear it, but that may just be the engine drowning it out.
My thinking is stuck on it being an exhaust leak. It didn't start until around 4k miles and has gotten worse, like it is something that loosened over time. It also gets louder the longer I've been driving, like when the exhaust system gets hot and expands. Maybe when I can get some free time I'll get some permatex and try sealing every clamp to see what that does. Frustrating that the dealer keeps telling me that its normal. Yeah, no.
Also, my 2015 5.3 (Range AFM disable, Borla Catback) never had this issue. Traded in at 28k miles.
