  1. Can’t remember what list price is, but you’ll find it for around $35-55.
  2. Not saying I haven’t - but why use it at night to see the vehicle behind you? Seems like common sense that the mirrors will give you a way better idea of how close they were.
  3. Yes, you’ll need the coax cable which will be special order: 84335461
  4. You toggled the camera on, while driving forward, to see how close the vehicle behind you was? The truck has 3 mirrors which are 10x safer to view while driving forward than looking at a bright screen in the dark. If you couldn’t see the vehicle behind you in the mirrors then obviously he’s following extremely close, so taking your eyes off to view the screen wasn’t the brightest (no pun intended) idea. No offense but that seems reckless on your part, not the trucks fault.
  5. You have to remove the left AC vent, radio and cluster bezel to remove the knee bolster. PM me, I believe I have instructions.
  6. I agree it’s an annoyance but that’s all it is. The trucks not a piece of junk because plastic expands or contracts when hot or cold. There really wouldn’t be a Firm fix unless they did a drastic redesign, which will not happen until they completely redo the truck. If putting some butyl in between the roof and spoiler gets rid of the problem, what more do you want?
  7. It’s why you have a warranty.
  8. Which door is it, rear I presume? Hook up the window switch. Sometimes weird shit like the switch not being plugged in will unlock the door. Obviously you’ve tried the lock right? I don’t know what else it could be. I’ve taken apart tons of these doors and never had this issue
  9. Reach your finger in the hole and pull on the lever that’s inside, it’ll open.
  10. I had an Alpine wireless CarPlay unit in my 2010 and did this same charger mod. Loved it, got used to it, so put the charger in the 2019. I rarely use CarPlay, only for maps
  11. Did you do the install or a shop? Are you sure the boot was torn from wear... or did someone use a pickle fork to separate and severed the boot? Rarely would this boot just tear. The angle isn’t that bad.
  12. Coax is proprietary. I have tried to make my own with RG56 and the connectors, unfortunately I can’t test without the camera. UAW get back to work so I can get my parts!!
  13. Cluster = speedometer. It’s behind that area, I can almost guarantee it. The rattle sounds like door/ a pillar / dash, but it’s that ductwork behind it. It has such slight clearance between itself and the metal tie bar that spans the width of the dash. When it’s warm, it flexes and bounces on top of that tie bar.
  14. So the ductwork behind the dash is probably rattling against the tie bar that goes the width of the dash. That’s exactly what mine was, little butyl between it and it’s solved. Like I mentioned, you need to remove e cluster for access but it’s not difficult. PM me if you need help
  15. No, you’ll also need the coaxial cable that goes from the camera to the mirror. There SHOULD be the mirror power plug in the headliner regardless, but the video cable will not be there.
  16. If the UAW would get back to work, I would have received my coax cable. All parts shipments are on hold because of the strike.
  17. I found mine at the ac duct on the left side. Need to remove the cluster to get to it though.
  18. [emoji1360]
  19. Just get the lights and this harness: https://www.gen5diy.com/collections/19-20-silverado-plug-play-harnesses/products/2019-led-taillight-harness-1500-models
  20. I had to do that on a K2, worked perfect for over 3 years then we sold it. Still worked though.
  21. iPhone X, not sure which otter box model, it’s clear and not too bulky. IF it doesn’t work I’ll tell you how to make it. Peel back the rubber mat on the bottom of the charger, it will expose a couple of screws, disassemble the charger and glue the coils right to the bottom of the console lid. It will work then.
  22. And as I stated, this does not run thru the BCM. All video processing is done within the mirror.
  23. I think it could. I have not looked at the factory add on camera for the K2 to check out the wiring, but it’s just a coax going from the mirror to the camera. The other wiring to the mirror I could provide a pinout - there’s nothing special there. To the person above - dealerships don’t like doing retrofits. If they put their hands on it, they have to warranty it and be liable. I’ve been doing retro’s since the GMT800’s and also providing them to people. Most of their technicians do not take the time to see what matches what, they only look at their current situation at that time. So they never figure out what’s REALLY possible in between products and brands.
  24. Early next week I’ll have all PN and install instructions.
  25. Nope, this is completely separate from BCM. (Also I work at a dealer).
