  1. That’s what the shop told me. I’ve got about 45,000 miles on my current set up now with no issues. When I need new tires, I’m going to remove the lower spacer, put shocks at stock height and remove the rear blocks. Or at least that’s the plan. Going to go back to stock size and load range tires. Most of my driving is highway with little trailer use so I’m going back to get the most mpgs and out of the truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. I had this same kit. I took the strut spacer out and put the 5100’s at max height with the 1/2” spacer under the shock. My shop told me the angles were way better this way than before with the strut spacer and stock shocks. I also have a 2” block in rear. This gives me a little bit of rake for pulling trailers and not ass end sagging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. That may be the case with some but the morimoto kits from TRS just require some wiring and a bulb replacement. I removed the air box and the plastic cover above the grill under the hood and the only reason I removed the cover was to conceal my wires and relays. That kit is SUPER simple and well worth the money. If my wife’s car wasn’t a lease, I’d be doing it in a heart beat. I even did my mother in laws edge with that kit. Truly night and day difference. 5. The only thing I had to take apart was the air box. Granted my truck came with projectors so no need to tear much apart at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’d ditch those ASAP if it were me. I had a set of similar LEDS in my 15 Sierra SLT before I bit the bullet and went with HIDs from TRS. BEST MONEY IVE EVER SPENT! The LEDs scattered the light so bad it was worse than OEMs when driving in snow at night. The HID kit I’ve got is the Morimoto 5500K 35W and they light the road up like it’s daytime. 7. The mount was bent and when I pointed it out to them and explained this is why it keeps breaking they agreed. They fixed the mount because it’s not sold separately. Once it was fixed and a new bushing installed, there have been no more issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m guessing the bump stop you all are taking about are on the front suspension? If this is the case, my truck doesn’t have any. Don’t think it even came with any. Assuming these are the rubber stoppers on the frame to prevent the upper control arm hitting it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is the same lift I had before my 5100’s. I took the top spacer out, put 5100’s at max higher and kept the bottom spacer in. The shop told me the angles are MUCH better and I shouldn’t see any problems from excessive wear. This combo plus the 2” block out back gave my truck the stance of a 2500 with some added altitude that will still fit in most parking garages. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hardwire you’re dash cam in. That’s what I did with mine. It turned on every time the truck starts and I have to manually turn it off when I get out of it for the day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I did this exact same thing on my 15 5.3L Sierra. I left the valve in but wired it open. Now I have a tune and the DOD deactivated and almost Zero drone. There is a little more rumble but no drone. Before my tune when in V4 mode there was some drone but I didn’t feel it was bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. He has a Fumoto drain valve on the oil pan to basically eliminate any mess when draining the oil. The filter relocate makes the filter change much easier and hopefully less messy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Isn’t the total of 10W only for faster charging? My iottie charged fairly quickly for my phone and my wife’s Galaxy S9+. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have a qi charger for my iPhone 7 Plus. The charger i have is an iottie. I LOVE it. It’s a windshield mount and I have it hardwired into the trucks fuse box. I just set my phone in it and don’t worry about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Mine only does it every so often and I’ve got a 15 Sierra. I’m printing this off and taking it to the dealer next week for the power steering assist recall and an oil change. Hopefully they can get it covered if found to be existent on my truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Oh ok. When I tested my pedal with my hand, I was looking at the plastic bracket and didn’t see much movement if any. I’ll have to try this again and see what I come up with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have adjustable pedals on my 15 Sierra 1500 and I checked the “slack” in the pedal the other day and didn’t feel not see really any. Is the am I missing something or am i just a lucky one without any problems? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I’ve got a very similar one but mine charges wirelessly. I have it hard wired to the truck so I just place my phone in and it charges. I’ll work on getting pics later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I thought these were a twist lock style. I’m needing to rearrange mine but gonna wait for some replies first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. My brothers 14 had very similar issues but his was bought used and before he pulled the trigger, the dealer fixed. I’d take it back and see what the dealer says. Were you using a power washer? If so don’t tell them that. Those are not good to use on vehicles. I use a regular garden hose only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Plus it kept me at the same height as my 2.25” lift i had on before the shocks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I did just what you are asking. The shop that installed them for me said everything looked good to them and they didn’t see any issue in running this set up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I appreciate your input. I’ve had several different people who specialize in suspension look at it and say it doesn’t look that bad to them. The angles are the same as the 2.25” level lift I had. I’ll watch it but at this point I’m not too worried. With the miles I had on the other lift with less droop I’m thinking I’ll be fine. But again, I appreciate your input. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It’s not replaceable. My dealer told me if it happens again they will replace the tailgate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Here’s a YouTube video I made that has fixed my issues with this part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
