  1. I believe the only thing that can be monitored is negative electrical current returning through the frame instead of the ground wire. It's just a guess, but that's how your home gfi breakers work and my theory is that is what's going on. I will be watching for what you figure out.
  2. I would not want the 10 speed transmission.
  3. I like to suction the MC empty first then refill and flush the lines, this is the first MC I've seen with a filter, was able to pull the filter out but put it back in then went to refill, it's really slow to refill with that filter. Anybody else experienced this?
  4. On my 17 silverado they cut a new key, with the old key I started the truck, turned the truck off and there was a short window to put the new key in and the truck learned it. I would ask a locksmith before going to the stealership.
  5. Seems odd to me a thief would waste time searching a bag, I would think mosts thiefs would take the whole bag.
  6. Those wouldn't last a week on my truck.
  7. I know I'm replying to a year old thread. how about the ram towing mirrors that doesn't retract
  8. I have a truck camper that fills the bed, the mirrors would be nice if i couple get a couple more inches of width. They are towing mirrors that pull out, but I still need more.
  9. I didn't have luck searching transmission service. I'm sure it is there. Its a 22 gas under 30,000 miles. i added the transmission dip stick. I'm thinking of pulling the dipstick and sucki The fluid out to change the filter. Then drive and replace fluid again? is there a way to add a drain plug?
  10. I like my camper front springs. The 5th wheel gooseneck isn't getting used, didn't know which direction we were going but we were ready.
  11. Video was choppy, sounds like he said "downshifting from 8th gear." So I'm good.
  12. Ive been planning this project for months, doing my research here. Wifes 16 equinox the tpms sensor went south. Dealer wanted $420, I found Schraeder valves for $41 each and I have a manual tire changer and the $20 tpms learn tool. Oh I forgot to mention I'm a tight wad. wrestling match ensued. And lots of research. The tpms units i bought need programmed, (told what vehicle they are going on. many calls later only one had the tool for schraeder. Luckily they said just pull up to door 3 or 4 an They would program them for free. WHEW! That's today's project. the schraeder looks identical except for one molding line. just thought I should share what I learned. Have them programmed before installing but it can be done after.
  13. "Backing the calipers up" what is that?
  14. Spray some Windex on it and look for bubbles. no bubbles go live your life.
  15. Will you have to use a tpms relearn tool every spring and fall?
  16. I'm try To figure what years had the ratchet and what the pipes look like and if it interchanges with my truck
  17. Battery powered tool charger
  18. So i remember in the past having a ratchet tool for removing the lugs and lowering the spare, I carry a truck camper and what I have wont easily lower the spare, can't remember what year I'm thinking of and wondering if parts are interchangeable to upgrade to the older system.
  19. Get the camper/snow plow prep so it has stiffer springs in front. I have a s6'9" bed and a camper for an 8' bed, so I don't remove my tailgate, the cables were hitting the camper, so i welded some flat steel on an angle, change that for the cables and don't remove the tailgate.
  20. I was amazed years ago when a buddy ran duals straight out the back, and inside the cab was quite mellow. couple years later i put a glasspack on a truck, the drone was horrible, i cut the final 90 off and im sold on no 90's out the side, just go straight out the back
  21. 16 summer , 15 winter
  22. So I just noticed the EV (Avalanche) pickup, 8 lug, so its a 3/4 ton drive train? Cause the batteries are so heavy?
  23. I'd real like to find the old style bumper guards. used to put car tires over them for a softer push of a broken down car. do they still make these? I tried to copy and paste but my picture excedes file size.
  24. I have the firestone, separate fill valves reduce body roll, i'm not sure You can avoid one airbag transfering air to the other with an onboard compressor..
