  1. That's interesting. I have a 2021 6.6 diesel with dual alternators and dual batteries.
  2. I'd say after you wash and hand wax it, the swirlies should be gone. If not, why? I definitely wouldn't use an electric buffer on it. For two years, I hand wash mine using only Meguiar's waterless wash and wax and Meguiar's quik wax and after two years there's no swirl marks on it anywhere.
  3. I'm shooting in the dark, but my first thought is, it might be a loose ground in the computer module.
  4. All HD trucks will ride more rougher/stiffer than a half-ton. It is my opinion that the difference will be even more noticeable since your half-ton has the Denali Premium Suspension with Adaptive Ride Control.
  5. That's a good question. They're on my 2021 GMC HD Denali. Since the High Country is Chevy's top trim line, they should also be on yours. Ask (complain) to your dealer.
  6. Scan the build code QR sticker on the bottom of the driver door frame. It will show you all of the three letter codes that are the options for your truck. If your list includes the code KHF, then you have dual alternators. After displaying the list you can then email the list to yourself to keep for future reference.
  7. Follow the fan belt behind the radiator. It will either wind around one or two alternators. If you have the original window sticker, it will be on it.
  8. I've heard because of market conditions, some dealers are not discounting and some are even marking the price above the MSRP. I won't pay it. I'll wait until market conditions are better.
  9. Yes. And it's very heavy. Don't do it by yourself. Only one multi wire cable has to be unplugged.
  10. Very nice! I haven't seen many 1 ton duallies in the new body style.
  11. I'm guessing pounds.
  12. I'm calculating your fuel costs to be around $650. That is high. Thanks to Biden.
  13. Thank you. I tell everyone it's not mine, I just get to drive it. When I die it stays here. I tell everyone who admires my truck this same story to tell them about Jesus. Everything I have belongs to Him. I understand about the $80k price tag. The prices of some trucks are outrageous.
  14. Personally, I prefer the Sierra Denali HD.
  15. Yep, it did! I was thankful that it didn't scratch the door.
  16. I accidentally did it once several months ago.
  17. As you noticed, they didn't hit the doors and that was a part of the original design in case someone did accidentally extend them while folded in. Is it alright to extend them in the folded position? It won't hurt anything but why do it?
  18. I don't know what your manual says, but that's where I'd go to find out. Years ago, the standard break in mileage was 500 miles before you towed.
  19. Is that a 5'8" bed? I thought the 2500 trucks only came with either the 6'8" bed or the 8' bed. Anyway, to answer your question, I used some tailgate sealing strips in a truck years ago. I wasn't satisfied with their performance so when I traded it, I didn't bother getting any for the new truck.
  20. I believe the pressure recommendations are for when towing. My tires are currently at 55 front and 60 rear.
  21. Unless they started doing it with the 2022 model year, DRW trucks do not have TPMS.
  22. Beautiful truck! I have a 2021 GMC 2500 HD Denali. I paid $77K for it (it had an $81K MSRP). Last week, a dealer offered me $73K for it. I'd like to trade, but since there is a shortage of 2022 models, I think I'll just keep what I got.
