The rear blocks are the exact same. 1500's and 2500/3500's use 2.5" wide leaf springs with single center pins.

The BBB is toothless. Don’t bother with them.

Nope. 5100 is basically the stainless steel bodied version of the 4600 that is available in lifted sizes also.

Keep in mind that the front suspensions on these trucks are the same between the regular and TB/AT4 trucks. Only difference is the struts and CV shafts. That means you could go up 2” and still be the same as a factory Trail Boss in terms if geometry and alignment.

Is the vehicle on a humped/curved driveway or road? If the vehicle is leaning to the right slightly (passenger side down hill) this could cause what you are seeing. Also, GM could be finally beefing up the driver's side suspension a bit like the Japanese have done for decades to accommodate the fact that the driver is often the only interior weight in the vehicle while it is operating. With no one in the vehicle this often makes that side sit high.

The issue is in the axle housing itself so no, still an issue for those.

They fixed my axle noise a year ago almost now. Replaced the stub shaft and seals on that side. So far, so good.

Basically that is the same. TrailBoss has longer CV axles but I'm planning on running my stockers until they need replaced, then upgrading to TB units.

Today the auto makers are trying to get every last ounce of power and efficiency out of their vehicles. This does get tempered slightly by cost of materials and needing sound dampening but the pipes and systems themselves are NOT an issue. Gone are the days of aluminized, narrow, crimp bent tubing with brick style cats and poor flowing mufflers. Cut the factory muffler and flappers off, get something better flowing, and what little bit of performance improvement there is will be done for cheap. Paying $600+ for an exhaust system that is 0.25" wider and marginally better flowing than the factory one is silly. $1000 plus for a (maybe higher) grade of stainless steel is ridiculous.

It took me a while to figure out this forum is more "new owners" than "enthusiasts". This is my first new vehicle and the forums I read a lot prior to this dealt with older vehicles or offroading. More people willing to deal with rattles, clanks, noises, and dents and other "imperfect" things since they are either older vehicles or these issues are par for the course.

Mine works fine after the flush and reflash. Remember some of the clunks and jerks are from GM finally realizing these 350+ horsepower engines need beefy transmissions. These things are big with big moving parts.
