  1. Also ordered one. Should have it Monday. 15% off sale with free shipping. Can’t wait to get it!
  2. I used to do decal work. Look up Rapid Remover. Works way better than Goo Gone.
  3. Got rid of the whistle, but I got a squeak under the dash somewhere now. Lol. Radio volume up = problem solved.
  4. Oddly enough my rear seat vents being closed was the cause. As soon as I got off work I tried it and it goes away when open and returns when closed. Must create some weird back pressure.
  5. Sounds like it’s coming right from the defrost area. But yea. Truck only has about 600 miles on it.
  6. Every one except the rear passenger vents. Guess I could open them. Didn’t really think about that.
  7. At a certain fan rpm(one notch just below half) my fan will create a slight whistle. It’s by no means awful, but is noticeable. Just curious if anyone else has had something similar? Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s on defrost, front, etc.
  8. Doesn’t do it now because I have a 2020 AT4. Lol. But it did it until I traded it in. Never got it diagnosed.
  9. C’mon man. I conceded to your point. No need to keep rubbing it in! Lol
  10. My 18 Silverado E-assist did the same thing until it warmed up. Was annoying.
  11. Really? It came up on mine and it was 10 minutes at most. Lol.
  12. Fair enough. I hope yours does better for you as well. I really enjoy my AT4 and I hope you end up doing the same. I assumed the 6.2 was more of a work horse instead of a race horse.
  13. Didn’t know that. I’m more than happy that I jumped to an AT4 though. Rides and drives way better.
  14. Yes. Idling is awful in newer vehicles. In the last few vehicles I’ve had it’s been like that. 2017 Malibu 1.4L - best mpg 41; when remote starting/idling 28ish 2018 Silverado 5.3L - best mpg 22.8; 16-17 when remote/idle 2020 Terrain 1.5L - best mpg 31mpg; 26 when remote/idle I haven’t had my AT4 long enough to compare anything yet.
  15. That’s unfortunate. The center console is money in these T1 trucks. I have more leg room than I know what to do with.
  16. Your complaint is one reason I jumped from a Sierra Elevation to an AT4 during the test drive. I’m also tall at 6’6” and usually the bench seat trucks were more comfy for me. Not this time around. Floor center console comes nowhere near my legs.
  17. Why would you buy a truck with a 6.2L expecting good mileage? It’s meant to pull stumps basically and move heavier stuff. If it does that for you and gets over 12mpg, you’re doing good. My 2003 2500 with the 6.0L that I had years ago was LUCKY to hit 10mpg. I think it got 7mpg average when I hauled my Camaro to Road America years ago. The real tale of the tape is when you have the DIC showing your mileage over 400 miles. The 25 and 50 mile range can fluctuate greatly just from one hard acceleration on an on ramp. My 5.3L is doing just dandy in my AT4. I’m actually impressed at the mileage since it’s lifted and such. I suspect it will do better as I drive it more. May switch it to 89 octane since my last few GM vehicles got better mileage on 89.
  18. Oh I believed you that it was level. My neighbor lifted & leveled his 2015 Sierra and had the same dilemma. “It measures equal but it looks not level.”
  19. I’m not sure if it’s an optical illusion, but the front looks higher than the rear. It might be the angles or just the shape of the wheel wells. I like it though.
  20. I said the same thing to my saleswoman. Her response was “Really?!” Anywho, stumbled on a feature about 30 minutes ago on my commute. If you have your cruise set, let’s say 55mph. And you wanna bump it to 70. Just hold +/RES and it’ll go to 56 on your initial push then 60, 65, 70 etc when you continue to hold it. Never knew about the 5mph increments. It does the same for slowing down.
  21. My 8 speed drove like garbage compared to this 10 speed. Coupled with the ridiculous throttle lag, I did not enjoy my ‘18 Silverado.
  22. Dealer got my step boards in and installed today. Debating on black GMC logos. Waiting for this coronavirus garbage to pass so I can get the front windows tinted. Edit: I think I’m gonna try carbon fiber vinyl to change my GMC logos. Used to work with vinyl for 12 years. Plus $10 is cheaper than $160.
  23. Try leaving it in neutral and setting the parking brake? Edit: I replied with this before I saw that it was mentioned a few times. Also didn’t realize this post had 137 replies.
