  1. I have a 2019 Silverado and I use Apple Car Play quite a lot on long drives. I have noticed that after about playing for 2-3 hours it will produce static that is corrected by unplugging the phone and re-plugging it in. I have never figured it out. I use the original apple cord and it has happened on both the USB and the USB-C ports, same phone and different phone.
  2. Part number referenced for the isolator he used is 84474225 which is different from the SB part number.
  3. I brought my truck to a different dealer after getting frustrated with how bad the noise is getting now that it is full on summer in Houston. The tech that did the work noted that the other dealer did in fact perform the service bulletin but that he had a different isolator that he uses when he does the fix. He's been doing truck suspensions for 25 years. After the fix, the rear end is more quiet then when I bought it. I don't know what he used, but it works. Supper quiet and tight. I guess I have learned that the SB fix may not be adequate or the first dealer didn't do the work correctly. I will keep y'all posted if I have new issues.
  4. I have further narrowed my suspension noise to be coming from the passenger side leaf spring where the band wraps around the leaf spring in the back. There is enough play in the “band” that when the truck is shaken side to side to emulate what happens to the suspension when I leave the driveway. The problem is I have not a clue how to even try and isolate the band form the spring. I feel a piece of rubber would be a potential solution, but there is no way to remove the band and do this. I might just buy the composite leaf springs which don’t have this band and see if this will fix it. Anybody got a part number on the Denali rear leaf springs?
  5. Mine does it too. I have had all the recalls done. It did it before the recalls and after. I have a 2019 Silverado with 30K on it.
  6. I had all of the recalls done last week and no issues. The final revised fix works. No issues with lane departure or front camera either. Worked as soon as I picked it up.
  7. I have a 2019 High Country and went through the exact same issue. Dealer was instructed by GM to remove the rear spoiler and apply sealant. Didn't work. Next fix was to remove the rear window and reseal. Didn't work. Finally had to replace the entire rear window and that solved it. Dealer kept the truck for close to 7 days but they made sure they didn't return it until it didn't leak. Make sure they test it with water before the return it. My dealer was well versed in the process and made sure it was done correctly.
  8. Changed my exhaust to a Borla and still have the chirp. It is not the exhaust.
  9. I have it bad on my 2019 HC. Do you have a reference number to the TSB?
  10. Mine does it to. I have an early September 18 build. It's done it since I took delivery. Service department has not been able to find nor fix it. It goes away about 20-30 seconds into warm up.
  11. Just noticed that every time I back into a steep driveway that requires the rear suspension to articulate to one side there is a pronounced suspension clunk and bushing noise. This is a pretty extreme articulation even for a driveway, but was curious if anyone else has a similar noise. Suspension is Z71 on 20inch tires. No noise if both tires hit curb at same time. Similar noise is produced when exiting and turning making each tire descend the curb individually. Thanks!
  12. Perhaps we are getting closer to being able to tune the 6.2. Not sure about the 10 speed transmission though. http://hennesseyperformance.com/715-rwhp-2019-zr1-corvette-tuned-by-hennessey/ Mike
  13. RAP only stays on until the driver door is opened.
  14. Does anyone know how Hennessey is supercharging 2019 silverados without the ability to program the ECM and tranny?
  15. GM Performance Exhaust is manufactured by Borla from what I have read.
  16. On the camera app; bottom row of view selection on the far right is an arrow pointing to the right. Touch it. On page two there are two selections. One of them toggles between hitch guidance asssitance with a single line and the other is the box you are searching for.
  17. I didn’t have any brake issues and no warnings regarding brakes. I bet that was unsettling experience. I did check the DTC codes with my scanner and nothing was tripped or recorded. It hasn’t happened anymore so I am hoping it was a glitch in the computer. These trucks have too many computers! I am interested in hearing what your dealer finds out. Please post the results when you find out.
  18. Drove to a store was in there maybe 15 minutes. Came out and started truck and was met with Service Power Steering Drive with Care and Servoce ESC warnings. I tried several times to restart in an attempt to clear the message. No luck. Sat for about 20 minutes with engine off. Called tow truck. I tried to restart and message was cleared. No DTCs. And no way to replicate.
  19. It almost sounds like the starter is sticking open and is getting overdriven by the engine once is started. I have a 2019 6.2 and it hasn't made that noise at all. Does it happen more when cold or after the truck is warmed up to operating temperature?
  20. I installed some RGB footwell lights this weekend (picture forthcoming) and part of the project involved locating a switched power source and preferably one with retained accessory power. In the right fuse panel (passenger side) by fuse F27 which is a square shaped fuse, there is an additional prong next to it that will accept a spade connector which you can then run a wire to a separate fuse for whatever you are installing. I hope this helps someone else since wiring diagrams are not readily available on the net yet. Enjoy!
  21. Can anyone provide a diagram or instructions on how to remove the center console or access the subwoofer in the new 2019 High Country / Denali pickups? Thanks!
