  1. Just south of Lansing. Mid Michigan.
  2. Loving the warm sunny weather up here in Michigan today. Got the truck all shined up for spring
  3. Wrapped the bow tie in carbon fiber inside and gloss black outside and got it all wiped down for pics on this warm sunny day here in Michigan. Pushing 70
  4. Got all the winter crud off and a new cermaic top coat layer added to make her shine
  5. What a difference 24 hours makes. From an inch of mud to an inch of snow
  6. My 1500 next to my old mans 2500. Over 50 years of driving Chevy trucks between us. He's a lumberjack so he beats the crap out of his trucks and has never had any major problems in the hundreds of thousands of miles of offloading in his lifetime.
  7. Mudflaps are getting a workout this week
  8. I just put 420 lbs (6 bags of 70 lbs each) in the bed right over the rear axle and it makes a huge difference with the back gripping and not needing to worry about using 4wd as much.
  9. Snow makes the trees look nice at least
  10. First snow of the year starting here this morning in Michigan. Maybe get enough to test out the snow traction on my tires by the end of the day
  11. First snow of the year starting here in Michigan this morning.
  12. First time in a few weeks it hasn't been raining and I've had time to wash the truck so I took a few picks while it's nice and shiny
  13. I had no idea until today they are making a 2019 LD model that is still a K2 build. I took mine in to try to get the remaining squeaks out of the dash area and they gave me a 2019 Silverado so I was really excited I'd get to try out the new style to see how I liked it. Then I see it's an LD and find out they are still keeping our build style around in limited trims all with bench seating and double cab from what this article says. But if you really hate the new style but want a 2019 you now have an option as long as you dont want bucket seats, crew cab, or ltz. How did I not hear about this before driving one? Haha https://www.off-road.com/blog/2018/07/04/light-duty-lucky-draw-2019-chevrolet-silverado-1500-ld/

  15. Went to the park today with my daughter. Not many days warm enough for that left this year up here in Michigan. Loving the leaves and clouds for pictures
  16. Beautiful fall day today. Still looking pretty good and shiny over a week after washing
  17. Really love how the ceramic coating makes the rain look too.
  18. Rainy days always look good on the truck after getting it ceramic coated. The amount of water beads never gets old
  19. I like this CD slot mount. It gets a little in the way of the screen and heat buttons, but puts my phone in a good spot without using a vent or cupholder.
  20. 1,950, but that did include full glass, taking the wheels off and doing all the suspension, wheels, and calipers, and a full interior protection. Only part I didnt do was the bed cover or bed itself. I hear it really varies depending on location. This is also the 3rd vehicle they have done for me so I got a pretty good discount. It includes full paint correction and deep cleaning of everything, even between the rear springs, before coating it since it is permanently bonded to your paint after they do it. But man I love how slick it makes it and how the water and dirt come off so easy. Looks freshly waxed everytime I go through the touchless wash.
  21. I like how the black round OEM style look and work.
  22. And here is one with it folded up.
