  1. Don’t forget floor mats.
  2. Yet again, Apple product using 1Blocker. No issues.
  3. Mine does…but then I only paid 66K.
  4. 1Blocker - cheap version. Makes this site as it’s meant to be…informative and enjoyable.
  5. Rear took a full quart to get it within the 10mm spec. Front took only a small amount but it was below spec. I plan on a drain and fill at 5K. Is there any reason not to use 75W90 in both front and back rather than having two different specs. I still have two quarts of Redline 75W90 left and would like to use it up.
  6. Had one on my 2003 Duramax. Haven’t seen one since.
  7. I checked my diff yesterday and it measured 25mm below the bottom of the fill so I ordered a quart of AC Delco juice to top it off. I’m now going to check the front and the transfer case. For all I know, my 2018 1500 might have been low. I never checked it till I did the first change at 25k. Still, I’m liking this truck a lot but it’s still early.
  8. Is this diesel powered or gas?
  9. I too checked my VIN on the Chevy site and it showed “no recall” so I’ll check again in a few weeks. My gate has not malfunctioned yet.
  10. I too had a Dee Zee in my 2018 1500. Great mat and I wanted to get the same for my 2500. I didn’t see one on the Dee Zee site so I’m not sure what other sites are showing as “backordered”. I used my “Chevy Rewards’ points and bought one from a Dealer in Georgia. Does fit perfect, has a bow tie and is black but it is not as thick and heavy as the Dee Zee mat was.
  11. No, I added the SG III to my 2024 2500HD. I no longer have the 2018.
  12. First, a thank you to all who have worked on this mod. I set my SG III up today (including the gear position). I had been running Torque Pro on my 2018 but this set up is much easier. Thanks again.
  13. Just picked up mine this past Friday. Gas. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
  14. Well I’ll play the other side of the coin. I have had two trucks during the last 20 years. My 2003 2500 Duramax hit 298K when we parted company while my 2018 1500 had 57K. I’m in the “service court” when it comes to my vehicles. While I don’t abuse them, I do use them. I retire at the end of this year and the wife and I intend to use our travel trailer a lot. I wanted something that I didn’t have to be as cautious with when towing out West, hence the move back up to the 2500. Personally, I don’t feel the economy is in the ******. I bought my first home when interest rates were 15%. Costco fuel is under $3 bucks and I wanted a new truck so…. Not the best deal I ever made on a vehicle but we can afford it and hopefully we will enjoy it in our retirement. I’m not telling you to go out and buy a new truck (or used for that matter) but rather weigh all the factors and then you’ll know when to buy. Good luck. PS… looks like I’ll be over on the HD forum now. Should be interesting.
  15. You just need the digitizer. I just replaced mine today and it works fine. I does take a little effort but isn’t that hard if you aren’t ham handed and have a small degree of patience. The most time consuming thing for me was removing the old adhesive from the metal frame. While I had 2-sided mounting tape in both 2 and 3 mm size, the digitizer screen came with the mounting tape already applied to the screen. A couple of years ago, both the digitizer and digitizer/screen combo were quite expensive. Much cheaper these days. Hopefully the quality didn’t follow the cost. The combo you linked to is the easiest route. Remove and replace. That convenience does however come with a cost about 5x compared to just the digitizer itself. Whatever route you choose, it beats hell out of a dealer fix that at one time was a grand. Who knows what that fix cost today. Good luck.
  16. It is indeed the digitizer. I just unplugged mine. While it eliminates the problem, you no longer can use the touch screen. You can still perform many of the functions via the controls. Just a page back or so you'll find a long thread on this topic. Here's the latest thread: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/252750-touch-screen-has-a-mind-of-its-own/page/4/#comments
  17. Yep, The electric roll up is pretty slick, I have to admit.
  18. I'm a Roll n Lock guy. Very easy to use. Keeps most water out. Not sure how it works in extreme cold or snow but in Fla. that's a non issue.
  19. If you read through the thread you'll see that the screen digitizer is the culprit. You can either replace the screen (with new attached digitizer) or you can just disconnect the digitizer cable. Yes, the DIC is also affected.
  20. Well there are several really. In my case, I was out of warranty so I chose the least expensive solution (disconnect the digitizer) but screen replacement (with an already attached digitizer) solves the problem too. Replacing the digitizer (the cause of the problem) while less expensive, requires a bit more work and skill level but again, fixes the problem. It's a DYI or Dealer replacement. You can also upgrade the entire system with an aftermarket complete unit. It's just a matter of money.
  21. Mine crapped out around the same mileage. If you have all your XM stations preset, you can control them via the left rocker on your steering wheel should you decide to just unplug the digitizer. It's free (if you feel comfortable doing things on your truck) but you give up the touch screen ability. It's not for everyone. I spend coin on lubricants and suspension parts/tires but I'm not interested in dropping money on a radio so.... I disconnected the ribbon cable to the screen and let the four winds blow.
  22. Digitizer on your touch screen is toast. You can either replace the whole screen (comes with new digitizer) or disconnect the digitizer itself from the screen. As stated above, there are several threads showing both procedures. Just a matter of how much you wish to spend.
  23. Your digitizer is bad. You can either have the screen/digitizer replaced either by the Dealer or yourself. An alternative is to disconnect the digitizer from the screen PC board. This will allow the screen to operate but with no touch capability. There are several recent threads showing all of the above.
  24. Sounds like your digitizer has failed. Several recent threads as mentioned above. Just scroll on down. Can't help with your seats.
  25. It is the digitizer, plain and simple. Since it is attached to the screen, GM replaces the whole unit. Replacing the digitizer can be done. There is a write up on this several threads back.
