I actually found some good information on how the whole capless system works which makes me feel better. I don't have the link still but it was right from GM. Most systems have a spring loaded door with a rubber seal on it where the gas nozzle has to go through, so there is some force involved etc. GM has 2 of these doors \ flaps not just one making sure dirt \ water doesn't get in there. There is a gap between the outside and the actual flaps as well to allow dirt \ water to fall through before it gets to those flaps and into the tank as well. The system has been around for quite a while, I wasn't aware of any of this. It's also nice because you don't have to worry about losing that cap or getting the dreaded engine code that shows when the cap isn't on! I still kind of want something to cover it because i'm funny like that but it sounds like they really thought this through and you don't NEED one. I would appreciate something that held the gas door closed instead of just a spring though, I want to keep the inside clean regardless.

No issues with mine. I do however want a cap, I don't like the cap-less at all, I worry about dirt \ water getting in there. I was spraying the truck off the other day and the water lifted the gas door open, that's all I need is a direct shot of water in there. It's too easy for someone to mess with it also. Thoughts?

Has anyone had the dealer come after them for not keeping a loan through GM for a certain amount of time before you pay it off? Mine told me I had to keep it for 4 months or they could come after me for the additional $1500 rebate they game me. I don't think they can legally FORCE you into a loan. They were not able to provide ANY documentation and even the first bill i got said nothing about it. Blowing smoke? Smitty

My 19 6.2 can get 20 MPG without really trying. I've seen other show pictures of 24-25. Mine is too new and I can't control my lead foot that well yet.

I noticed the EXACT same thing... I turned auto ON \ OFF and the rough idle seemed to go away.

I think that's high and you have room still. Mine was a 19 LTZ CC with the 6.2, safety and convenience 1 and 2. Sticker was almost $61k and I was out AFTER TTL at $55,500. This was about a month ago in Phoenix. Good luck!

I'm curious as well. I have a Silverado LTZ with Safety \ Convenience 1 and 2 and I have the rear camera showing the hitch area etc. I would love to be able to just buy the one from the technology package and plug it in. Does anyone know if that's a possibility? If it's a wireless signal to the mirror you would think I could just ply one in and synch it somehow?

I agree, I have one in the 2019 LTZ and it works great. It's not picky where you put it and plenty fast! They must have upgraded it since the K series.

How do you disconnect OnStar and what are the issues when you do? hahaha. I don't mean calling them and asking them to stop either.

I've only had the truck for just over a week so I'm just figuring things out. It has an update for "Apps" but it failed on install no matter what I tried, other apps install so it's not connection based as far as the problem. Bluetooth permissions are okay though. I have not tried another phone yet, I will have to try that eventually. I have to figure out how to get that APPS thing to update and maybe that will do it. Thanks for your ideas and response. I guess.... they made the tailgate fob only, they should have done that with the glove box too. The truck has a valet mode (not sure what it does) but limit the tailgate \ glove box opening while in valet mode would have been nice.

Mine is US built as well, I'm curious now if mine is going to leak. . I wonder if one supplier was covering both the US and Mexico trucks? I thought I heard somewhere it was caused by not enough sealant when they were installed but I could be wrong. I've seen rear windows removed before and it was always just a rubber gasket.

Interesting.. thank you. My current phone works with several other Bluetooth devices though and never disconnects from those. I doubt in my case it's the phone because of that. Just curious, what phone do you have? Mine is only about a year old and it's a Galaxy S8 which is current on firmware etc. Thanks for your response. Smitty

I'm just thrilled that the sun visors slide to the side as well for better adjustment! They seem to change that every few years, my 05 had it and my 08 didn't! Thank you for bringing that back! I do have a complaint... If you are going to a key fob system, why would you make the glove box require a key? Smitty

Has anyone else had any issues with their cell phone Bluetooth connection disconnecting after a couple of minutes? Just driving and talking, not changing the radio or anything else and it just drops connection. I can hit reconnect from my cell phone and it picks back up. I don't have this issue with my phone and any other Bluetooth device, only the truck. Thanks, Matt

So I've watched the YouTube video, did the reset with 1 and 3 held together and tried the normal programming procedure of holding the transmitter (next to it) and button 1 or 2 or 3 etc while pushing both at the same time and it won't take! It's an old LiftMaster remote but I thought it was supposed to start out slow flash to fast flash on the Home Link button but mine always starts with Fast then eventually goes to Slow but never takes! So frustrating when it should be an easy task. Yes the normal remote works fine and opens\closes the garage door like it should. hahaha has anyone ran into this or know if there is a compatibility list for garage door openers etc?! This shouldn't be this tough. Thanks in advance! Smitty

So I pulled the trigger on Friday. After battling with the dealer on a White 2019 LTZ Z71 Premium plus package. Sticker was about $59k plus TTL it would have been about $63 and I walked out at $55k out the door and they delivered it to my front door that night. I have to say it's the best truck I have driven and that 6.2 is amazing, no going back for me! It's a rocket from what I have experienced in my older 2008 5.3 I had. I don't really need all of the bells and whistles the LTZ came with, I just wanted that 6.2! Smitty

Wow... those prices on Sir Walters are by far the best I have seen, $10k off of LTZ \ HC trucks? There has to be a catch or they are just trying to get you in the door?!? Please let us know if that works out for you, it's good to use against other dealers. I know I"m taking those prices with me shopping this weekend! hahaha Maybe that's what President's day pricing will be like?

I tried yesterday on an AT4 and they were only willing to come down about $4k. Has anyone heard anything about President day sales yet? I noticed Ford was advertising you could get that pricing now so GM has to be doing something soon! If you see anything, please post it up so we are all aware!

Someone said earlier that truck month is March typically.. let's see what happens, maybe that will drop.

I need $10k off of sticker to buy. I doubt I will see that on a loaded LTZ or High Country for a while. it's not $15-$20k more of a truck than the 2018's they just blew out on sale year end, I don't care what has changed. I would love to know the REAL cost of building one of those and how much profit they get from a sale. If someone pays full stick on an LTZ \ HC I bet they make $20k - $30k profit on each truck. Anyone have an idea? I have the cash to buy one but can't get past the fact of wasting the excess money I know that's in the deal. Then again people buy Raptor's for $10k over sticker all of the time which I can't get my head around. It's a truck!!!!!
