  1. I’ve got a friend that had a level all the way to a 10-12 FTS kit and never had this issue either on a 16 High Country. It’s obviously hit or miss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you had this issue and had to search it you would see how popular a subject it is. According to some there are defective gears in some of them and some guys have the problem and some don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Did you have a level before the bds kit? If so did you experience the noise? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I bought a ‘16 Sierra about a year ago and immediately put a top mount 2.5” leveling kit on it. Every since I’ve had the infamous steering rack “pop & clunk” at low speeds. Well I had a upper control arm cam plate snap on me this weekend so I’m fixing to have to get the truck realigned. I’m debating on removing the leveling kit to get rid of the noise while I’m at it but hate the stock look. So has anyone had this issue with the rack and installed a true “drop lift” like the mcgaughys that doesn’t use a spacer and the noise not come back. I’m debating on going ahead and ordering the 7-9 kit and installing it because everything I’ve read is that the noise almost always comes from having a top mount lift spacer... 5. Resurrecting an old thread, but has anyone installed a full drop lift and it not have this issue? I have a top mount 2.5 leveling kit and obviously it is doing the same thing as everyone else. A full drop lift (mcgaughys) doesnt use a "spacer" to lift the front of the truck, so I was curious if I went ahead and ordered and installed that if I would continue to have the same problem.
  6. Resurfacing an old thread but did you ever get this fixed? My 16 is having the exact same problem. Really want to know what the fix was that way I’m not just throwing parts at it..
