Does anyone know why the recall is only Alaska and Canada?

If I'm cruising at 60mph DIC says 19mpg, 17mpg average city/highway after a couple weeks of driving. I've never calculated it. I'm happy with the mileage.

You're right, maybe I'll just refinance it and see if they come knocking at my door for the money. I dug through the paperwork I received when I purchased the truck, apparently they didn't give me a copy of that document. I'm going to contact them tomorrow about it. Could it be a dealer scare tactic for them to prevent people from refinancing so they get their bonus from gm financial?

My dealership made me sign a document that stated I wouldn't refinance until I've made 4 payments. It says if I do refinance I'll forfeit the 1500$ down payment assistance. Not sure if that means they'd come after me in Civil Court to get their 1500$.. ? I did get a good price on the truck. 3rd one I've bought from this dealer so I'll probably just wait to refinance.

By your description, I have the same clicking sound on my 5.3l trailboss. I was just at the dealer asking if it was normal, the tech "guessed" it was normal. I'll be finding a new dealer to ask and maybe start a couple trucks on the lot to hear what they sound like. 6.2 man, mine sounds like a click every second at idle, kinda sounds like a bad serpentine belt would, need to be standing close to the front of the truck to hear it. is that what yours sounds like?

Looks like that could be the new carbon composite leaf spring on the bottom of the spring pack?

I took mine off, they peel off easily when they're warm

I doubt that'd fit, it might be too wide and hit the upper control arm. Mine is fairly close with 12.5 wide

I doubt it, it'd be close. I'd go with a 305/65R18 or the 34x12.5R18. Those are just a little smaller and would likely fit perfect on a non-leveled trailboss, especially if you want full suspension articulation at full steering lock without rubbing. I'll try to take some pictures of it so you can see how close it is. I had the 34x12.5R18 on my 15 2500HD and I can't really tell the difference in size just by looking at them. Next time I get tires I'll probably go with the 34, at that point I'll probably get aftermarket wheels as well.

Did you ever figure out how to do this? Do you have a link for the diodes? I'd like to get my fogs to stay on with high beams as well, if anyone has more info on how to do that I'd appreciate it

1" motofab level 35x12.5 BFG KO2's

I got the deautoled.com 921's and the Phillips extreme T10 6000k plate lights installed. They match perfect, and they're really bright. I'm impressed. Backup camera is a bit brighter, but at least I can see behind the truck now. DS is LED, PS is OEM in the photo

This is known? Right. A guy would have problems trying to fit a 35x12.5 Nitto Mud Grappler that actually measures out to 35". BFG 35's are spec'd at 34.5. So no, it's not known that all 35's fit.

Just had these 35x12.5R18 BFGoodrich KO2's put on yesterday. Trailboss with 1" level, no rubbing. They may have fit without the level, but I didn't like the rake. The manager at the 4 wheel shop looked at the truck and said there was no way they'd fit. I insisted that they mount one up and test it, they fit perfectly. I may have to adjust the wheel well liner a little, will have to see how close the tire gets once I flex it offroad. I'll take some better pictures when I get a chance. The pics make it look like the front is higher than the back, it's not, ground wasn't level. No more listening to the song of the Duratracs!

I asked the dealer for a build sheet, it lists all RPO codes and other info. I couldn't find it on the truck anywhere

I sprayed mine a bit in the car wash today, didn't seem to leak. Build date of 01/21/19 plant G Silao Mexico I'm going to keep an eye on it first time it rains..

I just ordered a set of reverse LEDs, #921 from deautoled.com they'll be here Saturday. Hope they fit. I'll follow up here after installing them. They have a decent following over on the Tacoma forums, really bright, makes use of the reflector and lifetime warranty. Also ordered a set of Phillips extreme for the license plate lights. The incandescent reverse bulbs look terrible while the rest of the truck is LED. Thanks GM..

Do any of you with leaks know what your build date was?

My thoughts exactly, at this point I'd demand a replacement truck or a crate motor. You paid for a new 6.2l. Not a "rebuilt" 6.2l by a dealer technician who may or may not know what he's doing. I went through this process with a Pontiac G8, new timing chains and crankshaft at 24,000 miles. Got the car back, opened the hood and found they had forgot to put the oil cap on..oil everywhere! who knows what else they screwed up inside. I immediately traded it in. If I did it again I'd ask for a different vehicle or a crate motor..

Any updates on what these plugs look like? Would love to see some pics. I'm probably going to take the front OEM flaps off my trailboss and put on larger standard style mud flaps (not molded) Is there a plastic trim piece I could get from the dealer that would cover the hole behind the front mud flap? Anyone have a US source for the plugs? I don't care if they're not painted

Mine has the same problem, just bought the truck.. Started the truck screen was fine, put it in reverse and got the bubble view, then when I put it into drive the screen scrambled like shown in the photos, I turned off/restarted the truck and it went away.. I guess I'll see if it comes back

Does anyone have info, pics, video or links showing fender trimming on the 2019's? I've been searching and haven't been able to find anything yet. I'd like to try to stuff a 35/12.5R20 KO2 on a 18x9 1 offset 5 inch backspace wheel on my trailboss with 1" level. Has anyone mocked this up or looked into it to see if it'd even be feasible with trimming? I trimmed the fenders on my 2015 2500HD (leveled) and ran 18x9 1 offset/5 BS with 34x12.5R18 KO2's and it looks like these 2019's have a lot more room with the round wheel well. I keep telling myself that a 305/55R20 would be big enough, but I'm still looking at the 35's....
