  1. Well, I didn’t get my truck back today. Dealer said the sealant was slow to set up. Apparently I’m the first one my dealer has done. That doesn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Hoping for better news tomorrow.
  2. Wow! I want to use your dealer! I seriously considered just breaking the window and having it replaced through insurance at a reputable body shop. It’s a damn shame to have to consider those kind of options.
  3. Yeah, I figure as much. But, they said they have to try this patch first before replacing.
  4. It’s at the dealer now. I’ll know how it turns out by this afternoon. Fingers crossed!
  5. To anyone whose had the sealant applied, are they supposed to apply it as one long bead or do they apply it as a broken line (left side/right side)?
  6. My iPhone volume still goes to zero with this new update. Ideas on how to fix the issue??
  7. I will for sure! It looks like when they were verifying it was leaking and when pulling down the headliner, they took off a plastic trim piece around the left rear shoulder seat belt and didn't get it back on very good. It's quite loose. I'm thinking it would have been better to just break the window out and have insurance fix it at a proper body shop.
  8. The one's on the TB's are very good.
  9. I'm having the update done on Tuesday when I take my truck in for the leaking back window fix. Hopefully the new software update correctly addresses this annoyance.
  10. Got the call this morning that sealant is in and I'm scheduled on Tuesday for the repair. Well see how it goes.
  11. Dude, that sucks! Ugh! Any indication as to why these are going bad??
  12. Ugh! I'm still waiting on the sealant to come in for my first attempt at repair.
  13. They told me they didn't want to be responsible for "phantom damage" that sometimes occurs while vehicles are in the shop. So, off I went in my NOT fixed truck waiting for them to call me back in once the sealant arrives. It's Kent P10200. I found it on Kent's website for $15. I was just going to buy a tube of it and take it to the dealer and tell them to fix my truck, but it's not currently in stock. Wonder what's up with that? Ugh...
  14. Update: Shop verified that it was leaking and discovered they didn't have the required sealant in stock. They called me to come pick it up and they'd call me back in a week when the sealant gets there. And so it begins...
  15. I never received the 803.1 update. Still stuck on v.509. Ugh!!!
  16. Thanks for the information! Mine seems relatively minor, as my headliner isn’t wet yet. Water dribbles on top of backseats. Hopefully the tech will treat my TB right.
  17. Man, this thread is scary! Mine goes in tomorrow morning. For those that have had this done, is this like a major surgery type deal. I'm hesitant to let them break open my truck! Yes, I understand that it leaks, but damn! I hope they can put it back together right. I have the hard GM tonneau cover. Will they have to take that off to work on my back glass? Pre-surgery nerves, I guess! Robert
  18. Well, $hit. I was hoping to avoid membership in this club, but it was not to be. My TB (08/21/18 build) was rained on in the parking lot of my work yesterday and leaked. Both left and right sides. I live in the Panhandle of Texas and we don't get much rain, so this hasn't presented before. I have noticed little dribbles from going through car washes, but wasn't overly concerned due to the small amount of water. The good news is the headliner is still dry, but there was water sitting on the top of the rear sets. I have a 0730 appointment at the dealer on Tuesday. Good news is, they've done one other truck and they farm out the repair to a local auto glass repair business that's known for quality work. I believe they're going to replace the back window, based on my conversation with my service writer. Ugh!!!
  19. Does changing bulbs out like this cause any error messages to pop up or throw a code, etc.?
  20. At first glance, this one appears to be the same as the one that came with my truck from the factory (recalled one). I wasn't sure what company makes them for GM. Yours looks nice, and I'm really enjoying mine!
  21. That's frustrating for sure. I have the same cover and just love it. There is minimal leakage around the tailgate but nothing terrible. I hope they resolve your issues.
  22. I purchased two new Chevy’s in the last 8 months. An ‘18 Tahoe for my wife and a ‘19 TB LT for me. We only have 9600 points. How do I get/claim 20,000??
  23. I never even made a first payment to them before refi. Hell, I actually got a refund check from GMAC, as I guess my new lender was well ahead of the 10-day payoff. Winning! :-)
  24. My Trail Boss is an 8/18 build and I do not have this issue. Robert
  25. Well, no. I'm hoping they did all of what I mentioned. For sure, time will tell!!
