  1. so I decided to try the android auto feature to see what all the hype was about and now I can't see my contacts list, recent calls list, or really anything to do with actual phone calls on the screen. I get a message saying to turn on permissions, but when I check they are all on. I even went to the phone store and had them verify that everything was on that needs to be. All that worked fine when used through blue tooth only but since I turned on android auto now it won't work on blue tooth either. I can still make and receive calls without issue, just can't see the info. It's a 2019 sierra slt with a factory non bose system.
  2. I have the 8 speed transmission, maybe that's the difference
  3. Interesting that yours will shift from 4 to 2wd while under power, I have tried this a dozen or more times and mine will not until I let off the throttle and even then it takes at least 8 to 10 seconds to do it so by the time you launch the truck and reach down and push the button the race is over. Not doubting your word, just find it interesting
  4. I don't like the looks of the new F150, have never cared for anything Toyota, the Honda seems more car like than a truck, I worked for a Dodge Chrysler Plymouth dealer years ago and for many reasons Ram is out. I nearly bought a Titan before getting my 19 sierra, but hated the two tone interior. But as petty as it may sound to some one of the main reasons I stay with GM is the seats. They are the most comfortable for me but more importantly if you get the upper trim levels with the heated option you have the ability to have heat on your back WITHOUT having the "butt" heat on, nobody else does that and I hate the butt heat option. But to answer the question it would either be the Titan or an F250 and then I would have to figure out how to disable the butt heat
  5. I drove 204 miles last weekend at 75 mph with my 2019 T1 5.3 4X4 and the dash said I got 22.6, the calculator read 22.4. very few flat stretches, but no real big hills either. BTW, if it matters the truck has 63K on the odometer.
  6. 2019 sierra slt 5.3 T1 57K. After driving to whatever destination, time and distance do not seem to matter, sometimes I push the button to shut the truck off and it takes up to 15 seconds before it actually does. It is a completely normal shutdown other than the amount of time it takes. This just started about a week ago, and its not every time. Any one else experience this, is it something I need to worry about?
  7. thanks for all the idea's, but since mine won't do it if someone is sitting in the back seat I'm pretty sure it's not the window or a heat shield, but I will definitely try both of those fixes anyway. Hopefully one of these will work! Thanks again...
  8. try just holding the button on the back of the steering wheel down for a few seconds, it will do the same thing or at least it works on the 2019
  9. my 2019 has 54,000 on it. Its still quiet and smooth as the day I bought it, no issues. I change oil every 5000 with mobil 1 full synthetic 0W30
  10. I just went and read up on the Diablo, weird that it says in the "overview" that it adds up to 45hp, but then when you go to "features" it says 6.1hp on 93 octane. I don't think it would be worth $700 for an amount of hp that I don't think you could even feel, but that's just my thought's
  11. well, looks like something changed. last time I checked into it there wasn't anything and according to some guy on here they call "diablo lou" there never would be. good to know the tuner people didnt give up
  12. unless something has changed in the last couple of months, nobody makes a tuner for any dfm engine. the only way to tune one is buy the hyper tech ecm to replace the factory one. it's expensive and comes with a stock tune, you have to pay more for the tune, which is also expensive. you'll have about 5k in it before your done and that dose not count exhaust and intake systems
  13. rattle coming from the backseat, no, its not the headrest, I took them (yes all 3) out and it made no difference. If someone is sitting back there it dosent do it nearly as bad and sometimes not at all. This makes me think the seat back is loose somewhere. I did notice that there is a handle beside the headrest, I didn't think that this folded down, but at this point I don't know. Anyone else have this issue and come up with a fix?
  14. i do, or actually my mother in law does when she is back there
  15. sorry, I do not, all chrome here
