  1. Im guessing so. The regeneration cycles are much more frequent now.
  2. Well I had the required re flash done for the DEF system and now she is drinking DEF like a $2 hooker drinks Ripple. I would say 50% more def consumption than before. Keep an eye on the DEF gauge folks.
  3. Mine didn't come up on the GM site either. Call your service department and have the service writer check for it.
  4. I have noticed after the reflash for the DEF TSB im using more DEF now. So keep an eye on your DEF gauge.
  5. Totally normal It should fade by the time you hit 5000 miles. The regen cycle will always produce a little smell even after 5000 miles. when you are down 3 bars on the def gauge you can add a whole 2.5 gallon jug of def.
  6. I will be very happy to surrender all of my BBB papers and decision declarations.
  7. The No Parts available for a known defect is a case. Contact the BBB and get going. Trust me this issue is well known to the BBB and GM. Once the ball is rolling I will be willing to help anyone here with there cases. Will be happy to give you my name and case numbers to verify GM re purchased mine for the same issue. just PM me when the time comes. If mine was repurchased yours should be too.
  8. It could be, because the DEF regeneration raises the idle somewhat. Sometimes I do hear a pronounced clacking sound when driving. It could also be the fuel I normally use Shell.
  9. I had the DEF recall done about 2 weeks ago as well. Mine was certainly using DEF fluid so im not completely sure what the re flash fixed. On the knocking I do notice at times a pronounced "big rig" sound coming from my little 6 banger that surprises me, however I think diesels just do that. Mine will do this once in a while too.
  10. Go after them as I did. File for a lemon law buy back. Study your states lemon law rules. Go after them I won my case you can too. No one should have to listen to that racket.
  11. If you can possibly help it don’t buy the 8 speed it can be a real turd.
  12. Yes they do. read my new post in this section.
  13. It’ could be due to the cylinder deactivation system. However something sounds wrong in your situation.
  14. DON’T buy the 8 speed. Although GM has made improvements to it over the years it’s still crude rough shifting POS!
  15. I know it’s miserable, File a claim with the BBB and make them take it back!
  16. Neither, the refresh will be in 2022
  17. My 2020 replacement also has the same SU4 built last week in November no sound. They must have figured it out and fixed it late in the year of 2019. 6800 miles so far so good.
  18. I went through this all last year Its the Dog chasing its tail it ALWAYS comes back. Contact the BBB and file a lemon law buyback case its your only ticket to relief. If they repurchased mine for the same issue what makes yours different? They know they are defective.
  19. yes know the feeling well my 2019 LT would do the exact same thing the 2020 not so much. I was told the springs were re worked in 20 to help with this issue.
  20. I think its more spring related .
  21. Having owned both a 2019 new version and now a 2020 I can confirm they fixed this issue on the 20s
  22. Unfortunately your dealership has nothing to do with this it’s all between you and GM now. File a lemon law claim with the BBB state you have a front axle noise when in 2WD only. Submit your service records and wait wait wait. Every state has different laws and exceptions regarding the lemon law. They will first try and offer you extended warranties yada ...yadda. Turn them down say you want a replacement or refund and stick to it. Now hear this GM looks at you like your a cockroach, they could care less about you period. Eventually they will offer you the minimum they can under your States legal parameters. In Illinois I lost all the sales taxes I paid on the original truck and had to pay them again on the new one. It was thousands but worth it in the long run for me. GM HATES it’s customers and has literally killed people denying defects in engineering on there defective cars like the ignition fiasco several years ago. Watch this parody based on TRUE facts. Thanks to John Oliver for exposing these GM turds. Never forget this is the Company and mentality your going to be dealing with. Just don’t give up GM is hoping you do. They will eventually comply to your state lemon law and settle for what your state allows.
