  1. I have one on the rear of the toy hauler. It works alright for me.
  2. My 2500 Denali L5P does not have them either. Tied to 5th wheel tow package maybe?
  3. Alerts, background alerts, Pretty sure it is DPF Regen Status.
  4. Only thing I notice during a regen is the MPGs go way down on the instant fuel mileage pag in the DIC. That and I set up a notification in the Idash to give me a pop up for regen.
  5. These work, pretty sure any 433htz sensor will work.
  6. Nope, replaces the factory vent/speaker cover
  7. I havnt had this issue but I think GM recommends plugging and unlugging with the truck turned off. Only thing I have seen close to this is when I failed to pick a trailer profile after starting truck. Trailer lights will work but I get the "no trailer connected" message. I've always been able to go into the app and select the trailer and it clears it.
  8. Zero rubbing, it is a bit tight at full lock but it does clear.
  9. I mounted mine on the roof initially, it was too high and had calibration issues with the invisable trailer. It also had a fisheye effect but it did serve its purpose to see behind the trailer. I recently moved the camera to where is needs to be for the invisable trailer to work and its pretty neat.
  10. I like it a lot, way better than the suction cup mount I had.
  11. I Installed a dual gauge mount from Ben Ho at Blockhead8. Not super hard, remove grab handle/pillar cover, fuse access pnl and the trim around the lights/tow dial. The vent cover pops right out. Send a facebook/messenger message to Ben, he doesnt really have a website to order from.
  12. I would contact these guys and see f there is something they can do. https://camera-source.com/automotive-cams/gm-oe-fit/2019-gm-1500-w-360-view-relocation-kit-with-camera-included.html
  13. There is no Trans dip stick on 2020 models
  14. They make a set rated at 16k lbs also, I dont have any experience with either though. You can always put jack stands under the lift points once its on the ramps.
  15. I have U1D and not PTT but I have the repeater behind the rear license plate.
  16. You are correct that you need U1D, but any 433 sensors will work if you have the U1D module. I used older GM sensors I got off ebay since my truck wasnt ordered with PTT
  17. Would something like this work? https://camera-source.com/automotive-cams/gm-oe-fit/2019-gm-1500-w-360-view-relocation-kit-with-camera-included.html
  18. If you dont want the Derringer tuner you can get just the gauge. It plugs into the OBD II port and acts like a code reader only. Doesnt change any engine/transmission paremeters, just reads them.
  19. Not a pillar set up but....replaces top vent/ speaker panel. Blockhead8 on facebook
  20. Honestly I havn't even looked at it. Just noticed it on the tech link and thought I'd share. Surely there is a way.
  21. https://gm-techlink.com/?p=13025 Some 2020 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine (RPO L5P) may have a thumping or knocking sound coming from the rear of the engine. The sound is often more pronounced in the interior of the truck as it’s amplified by the transmission bell housing. To duplicate the engine sound: Idle the engine at about 600 RPM with the transmission in Park or Neutral. The engine oil temperature should be 113–185°F (45–85°C). Turn the HVAC fan and radio off. Remove the accessory drive auxiliary belt. (Fig. 14) If the noise level is significantly reduced, it should be considered a normal characteristic of the 2020 model year truck. No additional repairs are necessary. Fig. 14 Use the following procedure for accessory drive auxiliary belt removal, testing and installation: Remove the air cleaner housing. Remove intake air duct. Separate the charge air cooler (CAC) tube and position aside. Remove the belt and position aside. Install the CAC tube. Loosely place the air box and intake duct back in place. (So a DTC is not set for the sensor when starting.) Start the engine and verify the sound is gone. Remove the loosely installed air box and intake duct. Separate the CAC tube. Install the belt. Install the CAC tube. Install the air box and duct. TIP: Do not run the vehicle more than three minutes without the auxiliary belt installed. Do not raise the RPM higher than idle with the belt removed. The engine sound has no short- or long-term effects on the engine. – Thanks to John Stempnik
  22. I have mine mounted on the roof and this is my field of view. I'm sure if it were on the back you could adjust it to what you are looking for.

  24. Still loving mine, no increase in regens. Havnt been driving much the last few weeks though. I did put new wheels and tires on so I played with the speed correction feature. Seems to work well also.
