  1. I let it update yesterday, have not noticed any differences.
  2. They replaced the module behind the rear seat. I have not tried to hook up a trialer yet but the line still seems off center. I dont have issues with the normal lines, its just the trailer hook up line I have an issue with.
  3. I tow mostly through OH, WV, PA, MD hills so if your running flat ground you should do better.
  4. 10 ish with 9k toy hauler
  5. had the same problem, dealer said no calibration and they ordered a new video module i believe. I take the truck back tommorow for the fix.
  6. i have an equilizer as well. The standard hitch (7" drop I believe) works well with mine. Will probably spring for the B&W tow and stow for general trailer use.
  7. I mounted mine at the top edge of my toy hauler and its is spotty at best on the calibration. Wish i would have known it would not work there before i screwed holes in my roof.
  8. Perfect, thank you. I ask about the distance because the original has 2 holes and the new one only has one. I have a trailer that is prone to hitting taillights if turned too sharply.
  9. Can you take a measurement from center of receiver pin to center of ball when you get a chance. Also, is there a tow rating stamped on it? the website is low on details.
  10. It starts in 2nd (per my iDash gauge) unless the tow haul mode is engaged or M1 is selected. Starting in 2nd doesnt bother me from a stop. I do feel it is a bit slugglish from a rolling stop, like a slow yield or trying to cross traffic in a hurry.
  11. Over 8k on mine. No issues at all with the transmission.
  12. Dealer said they could not duplicate it, of course. It started getting worse (more frequent). I deleted my profile and started over and it stopped for a week or so, now it's back again.
  13. Wonder if it clears without folding it under. Obviously not on the small, but im interested in the large (7" drop) anyway.
  14. My tailgate will not lower if i open the inner gate first, and I have not seen/found anything regarding an additional tailgate specific battery. Unless it is a Chevy powered close thing.
  15. I have connected/disconnected the camera with the truck running without any issues (no black screens). I have never tried to run the camera without the 7 pin connecter installed, i assumed it would not work becuase it doesnt have a trailer connected.
  16. Looks great! I'm not a fan of the chrome either. You have a link to what you used?
  17. I know what I want for Christmas
  18. That sucks, hopefully you got a good loaner
  19. posted by another memeber (MTU Alum); "There are proper placement and camera angle that need to be followed. The camera needs to be in center of trailer and 4 inches higher than camera in tailgate when your trailer is attached. The camera angle needs to be about 35 degrees. So 0 degrees would be straight down, raise the camera 35 degrees from there. You generally don't want to be seeing the end of trailer or bumper. If you see any shadows in the rear trailer camera view, it will have trouble calibrating. You may have go in different direction. I recommend exiting the trailer app when calibrating and open camera app and select transparent view. There will be a yellow status bar on the bottom to show the calibration progress. I have never seen them calibrate in 60 feet it usually quite a bit longer."
  20. You will need to edit the trailer and walk through the camera set up steps. Requires you drive in a straight line, under 30 mph for at least 60 feet.
  21. the passenger side drains nicely, the drivers side is above the fuel inlet and leaks through the seem between the side and the floor of the bed, its minimal but that area does get wet in the rain.
  22. That's where I ran mine to
  23. Mine is similar to yours, but dealer did not add PTT to the build sheet. I got an older set of 4 from ebay for $25. As long as they are 433mhz, they should work. Optional (and not available on base sierra) PTT Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors, includes set of 4 sensors. Sensor functionality requires (U1D) In-vehicle Trailering App to be ordered with the vehicle and installed by the factory. Sensors will be shipped loose with the truck and will need to be installed on trailer by customer. System is capable of monitoring up to 6 wheels. Additional or replacement sensors are available through GM Accessories 1 - Requires (ZL6) ProGrade Trailering System or (PDQ) Preferred Package.
  24. You can view behind the trailer continuously.
