That’s funny! I did my comparison from Calgary down a bit south of Vulcan. My record is coming back the other way, got a 9.4L/100km run from Sylvan back to Calgary, should be downhill and I was driving slow (110, speed limit). I think that was on Petro 94 but can’t remember. Mileage from Innisfail to Calgary was really really good. i bet you could go lower coming down to Calgary from Edmonton. apologies in advance to the forum for using 21st century units haha.
I sometimes use tow haul even with just 5-600 lb in the bed or a load extended our the back. One thing the mode does is linearizes the throttle and brake sensitivity, making the driving experience smoother, it also gives the transmission different shift point instructions, gives you an extra few flashes of signal lights when you tap etc. The result of this is a smoother driving experience, likely at the cost of a bit of fuel and brake wear. But if I’m trying to drive carefully in town to take care of my load that is really a good thing IMO. The settings are there for you
As someone whose last two cars were well capable of approaching 200mph, it’s really really disconcerting when that limiter kicks in at relatively austere speeds. On a close circuit in Mexico of course.
My 2019 6.2 AT4 has been about 15.2 mpg over life which seems fairly honest. I have noticed that the mileage takes a real dive on the highway when not using the right fuel, for a comparo I did a tank of 87 out to my lake house last week and got 14.1 L/100km, this week I tossed a tank of 91 in and got 11.3L/100km over the same drive same wind etc. All pretty flat ground with some rolling hills at highway speeds. I doubt 93 would really change this due to my elevation unless towing. Each time had a few passengers and 2-300lb in the bed. When I have done the same drive with just me in
The full floor liner extends under the lockable case, so it needs to be cut a bit to install yes.
Yea if you even look at the multi pro wrong it will refuse to open. A manual release would be greatly appreciated. Seems like whatever the sensors are for determining open/close are VERY touchy.
So I was browsing around and saw this feature for a bed view camera. But that view doesn’t seem to be available on my Sierra (2019 AT4 with the rear view camera surround view etc). Is this 2020+ only? Anyone know if it involves a second third brake light camera or if it’s a software thing only? First GMC and I’m very unused to every year having dramatically different features than that last it’s quite confusing haha. Hopefully this new computer system gets cracked open soon and all these year to year features and restrictions can be updated coded in easily e
Not the greatest pic but borrowed my brothers car hauler to move furniture to my new house. Don’t do much towing (none) but she did it like a champ even when loaded right up. Pretty happy with the sag even with the off road suspension. Didn’t even have the equalizer bars installed since I was pulling through the inner city.
I really don’t like Chrome, so Denali was never an option for me. AT4 was just as nice as Denali with my truck as it’s optioned (loaded). I also appreciate the extra bit of clearance. And love the aggressive rims and tires the off road performance package got me. Interior is also pretty cool. Overall my AT4 already had all the “mods” I would have wanted on the truck right from factory.
