  1. That’s funny! I did my comparison from Calgary down a bit south of Vulcan. My record is coming back the other way, got a 9.4L/100km run from Sylvan back to Calgary, should be downhill and I was driving slow (110, speed limit). I think that was on Petro 94 but can’t remember. Mileage from Innisfail to Calgary was really really good. i bet you could go lower coming down to Calgary from Edmonton. apologies in advance to the forum for using 21st century units haha.
  2. I sometimes use tow haul even with just 5-600 lb in the bed or a load extended our the back. One thing the mode does is linearizes the throttle and brake sensitivity, making the driving experience smoother, it also gives the transmission different shift point instructions, gives you an extra few flashes of signal lights when you tap etc. The result of this is a smoother driving experience, likely at the cost of a bit of fuel and brake wear. But if I’m trying to drive carefully in town to take care of my load that is really a good thing IMO. The settings are there for you
  3. As someone whose last two cars were well capable of approaching 200mph, it’s really really disconcerting when that limiter kicks in at relatively austere speeds. On a close circuit in Mexico of course.
  4. My 2019 6.2 AT4 has been about 15.2 mpg over life which seems fairly honest. I have noticed that the mileage takes a real dive on the highway when not using the right fuel, for a comparo I did a tank of 87 out to my lake house last week and got 14.1 L/100km, this week I tossed a tank of 91 in and got 11.3L/100km over the same drive same wind etc. All pretty flat ground with some rolling hills at highway speeds. I doubt 93 would really change this due to my elevation unless towing. Each time had a few passengers and 2-300lb in the bed. When I have done the same drive with just me in
  5. The full floor liner extends under the lockable case, so it needs to be cut a bit to install yes.
  6. A+ First post. Great contribution to the community. You have a bright future ahead of you sir!
  7. Cool, I agree it’s not needed but would be a nice to have when hauling a varied load in the bed on the highway
  8. This is the correct answer. The need for 3.73 gears is mostly a legacy thing stuck in people’s heads.
  9. Yea I was on the limit between a 2020 and 2019. End of the day the new toys were not worth the 20k discount off the 2019 I got versus no incentives on 20’s. 20k buys a lot of upgrades haha.
  10. Interesting. I agree it would be great to check on your load with the camera. It’s so funny the number of cameras GM is packing into these things.
  11. Yea if you even look at the multi pro wrong it will refuse to open. A manual release would be greatly appreciated. Seems like whatever the sensors are for determining open/close are VERY touchy.
  12. So I was browsing around and saw this feature for a bed view camera. But that view doesn’t seem to be available on my Sierra (2019 AT4 with the rear view camera surround view etc). Is this 2020+ only? Anyone know if it involves a second third brake light camera or if it’s a software thing only? First GMC and I’m very unused to every year having dramatically different features than that last it’s quite confusing haha. Hopefully this new computer system gets cracked open soon and all these year to year features and restrictions can be updated coded in easily e
  13. Not the greatest pic but borrowed my brothers car hauler to move furniture to my new house. Don’t do much towing (none) but she did it like a champ even when loaded right up. Pretty happy with the sag even with the off road suspension. Didn’t even have the equalizer bars installed since I was pulling through the inner city.
  14. I really don’t like Chrome, so Denali was never an option for me. AT4 was just as nice as Denali with my truck as it’s optioned (loaded). I also appreciate the extra bit of clearance. And love the aggressive rims and tires the off road performance package got me. Interior is also pretty cool. Overall my AT4 already had all the “mods” I would have wanted on the truck right from factory.
  15. That was definitely my take too. Probably due to all the Albertans driving Denalis lol
  16. Silverado doesn’t turn by crank at all. Looks like it’s trying to be a Camaro. My Sierra AT4 looks like a truck, that’s what I wanted it to look like. That and when I got mine the Silverado only came with the little girl engine ?
  17. I have been thinking of a blackvue, waiting for whatever the next refresh is since I’m a video quality snob. I just want to make YouTube videos of people who drive the wrong way down streets lol
  18. My salesman was telling me the new CT6’s will have this feature from factory. Such a waste.
  19. Been in a Ankle cast for 3 weeks and my truck hasn’t been driven, wife Drove my truck on the weekend And it asked for the password. Maybe it’s just periods of inactivity? I think it has done this once before.
  20. +1, sounds like a time for better tires... Sincerely, Canada
  21. I have it and the exhaust with the 6.2 on my truck. I don’t know what it sounds like without but the truck doesn’t sound ridiculously loud in any way with both in my opinion.
  22. Dude why are you so angry? They are not great nerf bars, they are an appearance option at best. Maybe your salesman was a piece of shit, good for you for giving him business and perpetuating that problem, but all my guy was telling me was to take a rip down to the hardware store and buy some grip tape for them. There were no more expensive options for me to buy, that’s the benefit of buying a fully loaded vehicle with every option lol. The bars look cool, but I expect them to do absolutely nothing to protect my truck. And they are definitely smooth and slippery. I have
  23. To each their own. My salesman warned me about them on delivery they had a lot of annoyed customers. looks sweet, but leave something to be desired for sure.
  24. Thanks! He’s a European line German Shepard Dog. Sweet little dude for sure.
  25. The real issue with these is they are slippery as all hell when wet. thinking of getting mine coated in bed liner.
