  1. both my 19 1500 silverado and 2020 2500 do the same thing i always just figured it was electronics doing what they need to do
  2. I believe arm rest storage is available as well..... and there is no question needing 6'6'' bed (actually 6'9''now)..i dont mind dbl cabs at all, i just haul dry stuff in there anyway.....but yeah some of us have to have a standard bed and they are really tough to find in crew cabs....unless you move up to 2500.......if they kill the dbl cab they are going to have to make more std bed crew cabs dont understand why you wouldnt want extra bed space anyway.....will always be a day when you wish you had it, kinda like a 4x4 truck
  3. yeah i believe they are the same as i was looking at that too..everything i saw said its same so just bought another set.....I think its the reflection in housing thats different.....they work fine and high beams throw out way more and higher than lows....everything seems pretty normal so not questioning it much my DRL work fine as well....again am not getting any warning signals on DIC either so really just a plug and play system....for $100 and no headaches i cant complain
  4. yeah thats exactly what i did go through the wheel well...pretty simple, and i just couldnt see the need for housing or extra coin....
  5. so the card does work without having to change the module like aftermarket companies do? I now have an LT with conv 2 pkg so I have the sd card.....seems easier as long as dealer knows wtf they are doing
  6. yeah no complaints bro....for the money and ease of installing one of best things I could have done I also installed hi beams too but haven't really used them yet....
  7. yeah I didn't drive up to a wall and check pattern or really get technical about it....the beam shoots about same as halogens just better brighter light and haven't been flashed by anyone....truck sits tall stock as you know so you will blind small car if you pull up behind them at stop light but nothing you can do about that....they have been working great and have no issues though I am sure if you wanna spend more money for even better LED they are out there.....its pretty much same as my 19 RST that had LED from factory so I am pleased as that's all I was really looking for.....these lights I believe are made for halogen replacements, as long as they last I will be happy camper.....I didn't want to change housings and all that.....I get no flickering, warnings on DIC and DRL work fine so I haven't tested or used bunch of different LEDs in past so cant compare to anything cept my last 2019 silverado
  8. I would not hesitate to buy out of state, many many people do.....could maybe pay a third party to inspect the truck or have it in paperwork upon receipt and inspected by buyer or fly out and pick it up..... they delivered mine to my house from 100 or so miles away but basically I bought it sight unseen....never went to dealership at all and it was 10pm, lol which is a big no no for buying vehicles.....everything was fine I wouldn't worry too much on new truck unless delivery dude messes it up......
  9. happens all the time.....they also do some shady stuff with financing on peeps with challenged credit
  10. oh ******, when you said did the paperwork you meant finalized a deal 100%....yeah, no changing the terms now surprised your payments are on the clock and you don't have a truck yet though...….typically people don't finalize paperwork til truck is in hand....I would certainly hope the payments wouldn't start til you actually have a vehicle in your possession
  11. since you didn't order it ( was already built in stock), I would think deal stands just way you signed for it, if they had it on lot you would have drove it home, similar to a dealer trade and your just waiting for it.....pretty good deal as it stands
  12. idk, seems really odd to buy a truck and turn it in for repo a week or so later....
  13. maybe financing fell thru and made him bring it back.....usually 90 days late and they come knocking I thought.... don't usually repo vehicles that quick.....
  14. still, jeez man 85 miles on truck is nothing, lol both my 1500 and 2500 didn't even break in til 2k plus....still has full warranty unless its a lemon I don't see the issue both of mine had 200 miles on them.....most recent 2500 had 100 miles on delivery to my house from dealer but still had at least hundy on it
  15. yeah I just do it myself....I hate going to service dept for anything, takes forever and I don't want to sit there for couple hours waiting....its a half day lost going there…..anything I can do to my truck makes my life a lot easier
  16. Thats good thing with ball in your court As long as you have willpower to give up a truck you built specifically for you.....think they bank a bit on that factor for sure unless build is oretty much a standard truck they always order anyways..... You'll find out soon enough though....a car salesman sticking to something they said I would hold my breath....if he does you scored a good one...
  17. plus dealer incentive on top....would have scored! but it will come back eventually and youll get the same....it wont be this way next year
  18. looks like 2500 gas rebates went up from nothing to something.....but yeah either wait awhile or see if a dealer needs to make a sale.....on 1500 12k seems to be the benchmark ( some better some lower but seems avg in normal times)….on 2500 idk maybe 4k and diesel maybe 8k.....not best time to get great deal though am sure someone will, timing and dealer make big difference but overall maybe wait for 2021 I do see a bit of 2500s funneling in to dealers though last week or so....1500s probably same and more so....depends how many are left and are gonna get built..
  19. you probably were approved for 3 or 3.5% and they jack it up another 1.5%.....they do this ****** all the time, especially for customers with less than tier 1 or 2 credit.....your own financing is way to go and you still get rebates usually....I have twice in last year anyway
  20. just have it set it up ahead of time
  21. bs......they have no control over that
  22. in manual it says to see a dealer but ill check to see if I can find same screw on 2020
  23. sorry, I meant service manual....damn $600......guess owners manual will do
  24. yeah I would be friggen livid if they refused to fix or replace it...….I would not go away quietly thats for sure
  25. both are 4x4 and both have 10 spd tranny.... went off 4x4 base models....yeah I just don't see it.....couple of cameras and a motor plus few more buttons....
