  1. I hear ya man....this has been an exhausting process bro started last august...they wouldn't deal on 2500 and were giving away 1500s...so I figured I can get away with it and most times I can but when I need the big b%^&$ I need her....so I broke down and decidied to just do it.....I did get 1 level up conv pkg on this than my RST, so it will feel sort of newish.....its not as stiff as I thought it would be actually.....just took it around block
  2. 85% of my trade value was same across the board.....the farther I reached out from my area the higher it seemed to go....took delivery 30 min ago....but they all seemed in the ballpark and when I checked the overall numbers regardless of trade value they were all same pretty much....so how they switch them around and do what they do is what it is took delivery 30 min ago.....she is a big girl!
  3. that would be a tough find...
  4. mine is on its way to my house....LT 2500HD after 33 years of driving trucks this will be my first HD....wish I could have saved bit more on price but whateves, I didn't want to wait as inventory is starting to dry up around here already.... take a pic in morning
  5. my LT2500HD is on its way to my house.....48.9 sticker I paid 47.5 k OTD.....not super great but whateves, I had to go pretty far to save a few more thousand and I have a trade or delivery costs if I went that route....friggen long beach 10% tax rate, urghh, that stings, lol I could have got bit better deal on GMC but not the interior pkg I wanted....also like the look of Silverado hair better
  6. dude aren't you on the Silverado/sierra forums?....could a swore I have seen that name b4 its a straight 2" lift both front and rear.....rear block and front is clip style rancho shock/strut, no its not level I haven't read above but sure someone probably said the same thing
  7. yeah thanks man...I am looking for gas though.... funny cuz a lot of trucks I saw that would work were in fla or east coast and I said same thing....who wants to buy one way the F over there, lol...…. we are open here.....northern cal as well, or at least some
  8. I am looking for LT or SLE dbl cab and having same problem.....like 2 in whole state of cali in chevy and none in GMC....wish I had access to dealers research tools cuz GM vehicle search sucks b$%^.....lol
  9. I think they look friggen awesome...any trim
  10. I was looking at LT 2500 4wd and sticker was 49.9k and they would have sold it to me for 46.9k OTD with long beach tax (10.25%) California is ****** but this was a 2500 which hardly ever gets reduced.....so a 1500 you should be well under 6k OTD from MSRP... $6-6.5 rebate and 6k dealer discount....don't be in a hurry man, just shop around
  11. or buy a high country 2500HD......they are more similar to 1500s than other models or a high country front end maybe
  12. if you trade in a 2.4 is a $1100 deduction....and yes my 5.3 was around $1400 upcharge I believe so I get most of it back.....also I understand most don't care cuz they will keep their truck forever I was just kinda shocked is all....
  13. trade 2.4 turbo in and its -$1100 hit which i was shocked to see honestly......dealers, CarMax, all show huge hit on resale.....keep it forever no worries....i was really just blown away they take away almost whole retail value
  14. yeah idk how all that stuff works but I do know this.....went to a dealer last week who showed me an "invoice" and gave be price below employee pricing and I am not.....I couldn't check it to see if it was but not bad price nevertheless although still higher than what she told me she would do by email which is why I left and secondly last year I somehow qualified for lesse discount that 3 other dealers told me I wouldn't receive when I went in to sign and yet the price was same when I did, it didn't vary from our negotiations thru emails so idk how or what they do....but I think your right they can move the numbers around anyway they want as long as they get their bottom line or above.....as long as you get the deal you want or what your willing to pay let them do whatever they have too......go to 5 dealers and they will all tell you something different, lol 3 numbers only matter (well maybe 4)…..selling price, interest rate, trade and maybe ( dealer fees and or addendum stickers if they do it)…..everything else is smoke and mirrors......TTL will vary by state every company has to profit for sure but the way they do it and tactics some use is just ridiculous
  15. damn, I grew up in one of those....my dad had a bad ass 1975 blazer with 6" lift modified into P/U truck..very well done, bright orange...4 wheeler mag did a lil article on it.....ill never forget that truck.......
  16. I would have got a CC as my last one was....they were so hard to find and really I don't have to have one but more room is never a bad idea....if it was an absolute I would have....but will say my dbl cab is bit easier to maneuver and park, in my area streets are tight and so is parking....sure all beach communities are anywhere though....if they had a CC though I would have took it
  17. that thing is so cool, well done I am not a fireman but most of my neighbors are
  18. yeah that's awesome.....very reasonable, you can see all the holes for mounting options...just have the front to back offset issue
  19. I have question is there anyway to change offset of the pedal?....meaning how far away or close to driver they are, especially the brake as it seems it would be easiest....on my Toyota the gas and brake pedal were only maybe 1inch diferrence but on silverados they are like 3 or 4 inches.....I cant seem to get comfy position with both pedals.....if I can get brake pedal closer to floorboard by an inch or so that would be great....or raise the gas closer to me but seems brake would be easier my first Silverado so something that annoys me.....I have to lift my foot completely off gas to hit brake where my Toyota I would just rotate my foot.... EDIT: that company does make an extension kit so gas pedal would be easier to modify than brake.....says up to 2.25" with aftermarket spacers and up to 1" with their kit..... I never would have found these guys if you didn't mention it, thnx Jaime
  20. its slim pickings for sure but like every thread they veer off.....the OP was asking same question you guys are and he got all that! page 3 his name is roadrunner45
  21. sure there is....since there is a lot of guys running 20s and aftermarket just have to sift thru them....there is a guy there with 295/70R18 on stock rims/stock susp and no rubbing and has pics...just trying to help man this doesn't even pertain to me.....I just ran across it
  22. stock 18s seem kinda small in wheel well...sure seems like there is a lot of spare room in these trucks with 18s....I would think 1 or 2 sizes up no problem.....here ya go....should have no issues whatsoever
  23. they are probably hydro shocks and can easily be pushed by hand thru the travel, but it doesn't represent how they work on a vehicle however I doubt they are firm with lot of valving......designed for comfort mainly the Eibachs are monotubes and I am sure will be great.....just about anything is gonna be upgrade over OEM....if you want the truck to feel like a truck anyways.
  24. I would think easily as well....don't guys throw 35x12s on stock or leveled 2500s?
  25. I haven't done the swap yet....was maybe thinking of trading it in for 2500 but if that doesn't work out ill be doing the swap, have no idea when that will happen though
