  1. I like the fact stuff doesn't slide with spray in, I had plastic drop in and everything would be sliding around in back while driving....paint cans opening up, heavy stuff smashing tailgate for me it wasn't good....but again it depends how you use your truck.....you may want stuff to slide really easy it could be beneficial to some
  2. yeah its kind of pain....line x quoted me like $425 for basic and $525 for their best one which is supposedly really strong and lots of praise.....but yeah I have to drop it off and wait 4 hrs.....its nice to drive off with everything done but not so nice to have liner peeling so that can be hassle too....I have seen quite a few where people had peeling issue when I was looking at doing this, but everyone said line x was superior product so idk.....where I live it probably wouldn't matter but some of you where weather is drastic and how you use truck may or may not be an issue
  3. if the truck came with it fine but line x i would think be much better option and cheaper....if your only adding bedliner option nothing the manufacturer does is top notch tho, it all has to meet a pricepoint and made for max profit so i wouldn't expect it to be as good....if it happened to come with one fine if not i just go to line x
  4. that's ok man you have a family.....they aren't that pricey really( unless diesel) just not many rebates or incentives until end of year...but maybe now with all that is going on its already starting and end of the month as well....you know dealers tho until its not final til its final so....but i have already had my 1500 sacked out more than few times yeah i had a sweet deal for kings on all 4 corners and UCAs for 3k cash no tax.....and i walked away, lol..whateves LT TB was my first choice but they wanted too much back than and custom was kind of a joke whats your comparison of ranchos vs kings?....i had ranchos b4 but along time ago
  5. I hear ya....I have done this numerous times so am little more careful how I spend my money...mostly tho with racebikes, I built them up and sold them but always for less than what I put in but more than stock.....really I was moments away from going to get these kings, I mean literally on the road and it just hit me of all times I did before....and I know they are nice, and now am looking to trade out for 2500 (which originally I wanted just no deals at time)….so if this works out glad I didn't do it......but if 100% going to keep truck for awhile, I don't think you can do better than these.....ive ridden in king setups...granted they were a lil different but one thing I can say about kings is PLUSH....very controlled and super smooth....if you have coin and plan on keeping the vehicle w/o question I wouldn't hesitate....yeah its bit of inconvience to take em off after 50-100k but you will get essentially brand new set back for fraction of cost, and can tweak it if you prefer it a bit different......throwaways are in a different category....if your not that sensitive or care save your money, but if your very articulate and want the best and can notice subtleties its totally worth it.....like saying goes the best you know is the best you've ridden.....and its so true
  6. I would definetly go king if I was gonna spend "the money"..... I hoped you scrapped out suspension b4 sale of taco
  7. was curious too as I want to trade in my 2019 RST for 2500....we don't get tax credit in California, that really sucks....I am even on my truck as far as loan to value but still paying tax again burns, lol
  8. for some reason AT4 really needs wheel and tires....the body is just too big for stock ones and stock wheels I don't care for.... but its a better option because you can get a lot more on em than TB
  9. conv 2 pkg gets you the storage in seats I believe....I don't know about arm rest
  10. lol, I may take you up on that if this thing works out....?
  11. how does a 20k car come with LED and 50k truck doesn't, lol...….ridiculous
  12. yeah its kinda sucks, seems like it would cost more money to make 2 consoles instead of 1.....but there is a million topics on this with TB....LT or up for it to open.....no way I could have a truck without a storage compartment...reason I am looking at LT currently in 2500 series
  13. yeah really nice bro....beautiful truck, glad it all worked out for you.....if you would have waited for the order never would have happened so good call! went to a dealer today today.....salesman said 15k off MSRP but whateves….think he is full of shit, so well see how it develops....dbl cab LT 6.6 gas.....funny thing is it has tiny WT wheels on it 245's on 17's...which I thought was odd....either way still would be solid but just talk for now......also depending on my 2019 1500 trade in.... I absolutely love HC stock rims....these are best looking trucks hands down imo
  14. dealer has the truck i want almost to a tee....its kind of a tough one to find, but only 4k off sticker so think ill wait....if they sell it that's fine.....know 2500 aren't same as 1500 but ill kick my self in 3 months if they drop quite a bit.....wouldn't mind the deferred loan either.....looked at laura and they have nothing
  15. stingy mofos out here....always take the rebate even if you qualify for 0% you will still get low digit single and will always be ahead especially at rates that are available now.....they are using rates to suck people in because they know the rebates/discounts overall are customers best friend.....i may be taken a trip out of state i was gonna get that truck last august but damn the price they were getting was damn near full pop...custom TB was a joke so got an RST for about 26% off MSRP....which was fair....lifts and wheels are easy but since i might be trading up to 2500 i am keeping it stock
  16. exactly.....would you take 3% plus all discounts or 0% for 72 or 84 months.....you have freedom either way to pay it off however you want
  17. idk.....been looking and there still holding firm so far cept for financing.....they taken least amt of hit offering this instead of discounts or rebates though.....it may change tho
  18. is that for one cable or 3?
  19. yeah they aren't really meant for that despite what the marketing is or says if you are gonna use your truck for that purpose would be wise to invest on some real shocks designed for that purpose
  20. not for along time....too many issues other than just truck probably at some point....moms and dads using them for grocery getters will be first mass market for them
  21. Missouri https://www.laurachevybg.com/#promo
  22. when i raced motocross we used to cycle the engines to do exactly that....
  23. probably because they have too........litigation, legal, or etc.... some jackass will just turn it over and redline it til it blows right off the lot.or some variation....who knows ive always driven them normally never had a problem in 30 plus years.....
  24. Laura still has good pricing though others are getting similar with dealers around them.....on the HD trucks it seems to be a bigger factor as discounts aren't near as much as their little brothers (1500)….and Laura is consistently 8-12k on HD models, on 1500 just about everyone is giving deals.....just have to throw some feelers out and see what comes back or find guys that have purchased on here and see if you can contact their dealers...especially if they are close to you
  25. its usually nothing on rebate only whatever the dealer discount is. but they will make a play for either or I am sure.....with a lot of peeps getting 12k off plus youll never pay that much in interest....not on a low interest loan anyway and if you can get 0% than surely you can get 3-4% from credit union....maybe less seems a lot of buyers can get 12-13k off so no reason why you cant...just have to be willing to walk away
