  1. Nice loving that front bumper. I have a similar setup...
  2. I used a real small bit, if I remember correctly 7/32nd. The screws were fine from the kit but you have to hand tighten an impact drill would strip the head. There’s a small strip of rubber around the outer edge that keeps the trim off the slightly off the fender.
  3. 2019 tb custom 5.3 with 18k miles. I now have the loud Metallic click from the drivers side axle shaft when accelerating from stop or low speeds even and also on heavy breaking. I have the same amount of play/slop if I move the axle shaft back and forth in the bell housing on the transfer case. No noise in 4wheel and less noticeable in 4 auto. Looks like I’m screwed until gm finds a fix. Seems like a longer axle shaft would do the trick, idk.
  4. First rain of the season = pics!
  5. No such thing as freedom of speech in this snowflake “liberal” controlled internet.
  6. I call bs...my post was deleted as well and I had a quoted reply that’s nowhere to be found. This forum sucks anyways all bullshit advertisements in between the same useless questions asked over and over.
  7. Thanks. Anything is possible! You just have to be willing to try. I had to trim lots off the mud flaps and the inner fenders and it rubs minimally on full lock sometimes. I’m about 3/4 higher in the front compared to the stock TB so not too much lift but I’m running a much stiffer spring so that helps reduce the wheel flex a bit. What I did was run the biggest tire possible with the minimum lift then drove the ****** out of it and trimmed everywhere I was rubbing.
  8. 1.25 spacers back on
  9. I decided to put my 1.25” spacers back on now that that I added the pocket flares to the fenders. I’ll post some pics tomorrow.
  10. Thanks, check out my build page all the info is on there.
  11. Flares
  12. Not really any issues, but I took them off because they created too much offset with the new wheels. I like the tire to be just about flush with the fender, so 0mm is perfect imo. As long as you install them properly you shouldn’t have any issues. I ran the same spacers in my Tacoma for 2 + years.
  13. Word! I always liked how the AT4 had clean minimal fender flares and thought the same thing would look great on the Silverado esp the TB with the black pained bumpers. These are actually stainless steel not plastic so they are Painted Satin Black and can be changed to any color, or wrapped if you please. Here’s the link: https://carrichs.com/product/black-fender-trim-2019-2020-chevy-silverado-1500/
  14. I Love them. Haven’t felt much break in difference since I put them on. They are much stiffer then stock but I wanted that so objectively they’re exactly what I was looking for.
  15. Added some AT4 style pocket fenders...was looking for something really clean and oem. These are stainless steel painted in a semi flat black finish with a really tight rubber seal. More pics of the whole truck soon.
  16. I’ve been running the sealights for over 9months now with zero issues.
  17. Any 4x4 truck without a straight axle in the front is going to run the risk of damaging and even snapping the cv’s. The more you weight you run (Bigger tires/wheels), and the higher the truck is lifted means you’re putting extra strain on components that weren’t designed for that by GM engineers. So yes it’s a risk, however most people who are leveling their trucks aren’t looking to do any serious off roads. These trucks are not built to go to Moab, we don’t even have a selectable locker, so I would assume 90% of guys buying 4 wheel drive trucks almost never use it. Lifting a truck is mostly for looks so cruising around on the highway and the occasional 4auto in wet or gravel roads shouldn’t be a problem. I would not recommend dropping to 4lo and trying to crawl over the rubicon...even with a stock truck.
  18. Y’all should be getting major discounts for being test dummies for this ****** ?
  19. I’ve looked into this extensively as I have a custom trim TB so I don’t have the nice leather steering wheel. I don’t care about the controls on the wheel but would prefer having a leather wrapped wheel. Unfortunately there aren’t any options out there, I haven’t found any aftermarket leather kits for our trucks OR custom steering wheels like they have for the previous generation Silverado’s. I would assume a good interior shop could remove the wheel and stitch in a leather wrap as a custom job just haven’t looked around. The only other option is to buy an LT or higher trim wheel off eBay or something but you wouldn’t have function of the controls so seems like a costly option imo.
