  1. Can you order this kit without the extra inch lift? I would like to hear a review once you’ve installed them. You planning on installing or having a shop do it?
  2. Wait so you’re removing the blocks and getting 1” lift? Or keeping the blocks for a 3” lift?
  3. No updates yet but I’ll be posting pics of the new wheels and tires as soon as my shop re-opens.
  4. Thanks man! How’s the new tire set up, you start trimming stuff yet? My new wheels and tires are sitting at the shop but I can’t get them installed because everything is closed where I live. So the build is on hold right now.
  5. No need to trim because the stock wheels have openings between the stud holes on the backside of the wheels. The spacers come with studs installed so putting them on is simple. Take off the wheel, add the spacer with the nuts and a lil lock tight, put your wheel back on and enjoy the new stance. I forgot to mention I’m using black wheel locks because the chrome ones were to bing. I run these hub centric spacers, haven’t had any issues so far. I went 1.25 because it puts the edge of the tire right inside the fender. https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/g2-6-on-5-5-bolt-pattern-with-1-25-wheel-spacers-black-93-83-125t/_/R-FCNB-93-83-125T?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0O22kKSn6AIVhKDsCh15YQkPEAQYASABEgL6aPD_BwE&ecmp=s:google_1749764047_67406058414__aud-320825496947:pla-668137088306_G2 Axle and Gear_G/293-83-125T_base_US&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping&emlprox=out&ppcfon=1&gp=1&ef_id=EAIaIQobChMI0O22kKSn6AIVhKDsCh15YQkPEAQYASABEgL6aPD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!7836!3!340663058860!!!g!668137088306!&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=SC Shopping - NTM Mobile&ecmp=s:google_1749764047_67406058414__aud-320825496947:pla-668137088306
  6. Do it! If you Don’t like it you can always change up the color or even take it out. Thanks!
  7. Thanks. I didn’t re-gear. The tires probably hurt my mileage due to rotational mass. I’ve had them on since 250 miles so I don’t have anything to compare. I live in hilly country road territory so my truck averages right below 15mpg right now. I don’t think it needs a regear the 5.3 has plenty of power for a truck imo.
  8. I removed the mud flaps trimmed a bunch off the inside of them and removed the bracket that pushes them out. Then I just started trimming the fender liner. Before I lifted the front I was rubbing on the inside of the front liner so I trimmed where the tires were hitting, the more i drive it the more I trimmed until it stoped rubbing even at full lock forward and reverse with flex. You have to be able to take a knife to the truck to make it all work but if you cut clean lines and smooth out the trimming of the mud flaps it looks factory. Now that the front is lifted a bit and the trimming of the fender liner I could try to stuff 37 (36.5) tires in there but I’m sticking with 35x12.5 and going to 17’s.

  10. I get a lot of questions and messages about my truck and a few members asked why I don’t have a build thread, so I’ll list all my mods and pics in here for everyone’s viewing pleasure. My goal with this truck is to keep it clean and practical but do somethings that are totally unique and custom. It’s my daily so it’s mostly used on road but we go on family camping trips when we can so it’ll have an overland style to it. I’m in construction so I’ll be adding a few things to help with tool storage as well. Here’s how she currently sits...
  11. I paid around 700 for everything. The front is adjustable via 4 perch settings on the strut, I’m on the 3rd from the bottom so second to highest perch. I gained over an inch lift over stock so the truck is leveled but still has a small bit of rake which I wanted. The rears are just struts so no lift just better ride quality, I still have the TB 2” block in the rear, but I’ll be changing the leaf springs next. To me the ride quality is much better the Rancho’s. Stiffer but not jarring, much more controlled steering now. Haven’t had them off-road much yet but I’m very happy with this set up.
  12. Far as I know I’m the first one to put this set up on the trail boss. I called and ordered the kit directly through Eibach and they said they’ve only installed the struts and springs on a standard 2019 Z71 so far. So I took a little risk but they fit perfectly, I’ll be posting more feedback about everything once I get a few miles on them but so far so good!
  13. Nice truck. I like those headlights more then the custom ones but I prefer the custom grill without the bow tie. I wish we had some aftermarket options for headlights.
  14. Installed my struts and springs today.
  15. Yes just adjust the threaded perch on the coilover with a spanner wrench to raise or lower the front end. These kits typically have a taller spring then OEM so the spring will give the truck a lift all on its own even at the lowest adjustment settings.
  16. I just got the Eibach kit in the mail yesterday with the springs so yes they are available now.
  17. Put in work today, trimmed a few trees on the farm. I like using my truck!
  18. Dang ?!!!! Thats a proper set up. Any idea what they are charging for the LCA’s? What’s next? Prerunner bumpers?
  19. This just happened on my truck yesterday. But I was able to clear the code by re-starting.
  20. https://realtruck.com/p/go-rhino-rb20-running-boards/grh-69409980pc/?cparam=b305ac536fe51440f96200af6c766947&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9-H3h-vN5wIVl7fsCh37hAZnEAQYASABEgLdi_D_BwE The mounting brackets do hang a bit lower then I would’ve liked, eventually I’m just gonna make some new brackets that sit flat
  21. Happens to me from time to time, I just manually shut it down when it happens because it’s intermittent. Just another electrical bug on these trucks.
  22. Thanks! I used the high gloss white spray paint from Rust-Oleum, I did a coat of zinc first to help the paint stick, then 3 coats of paint. Overkill but I don’t want to have to touch it up in the future.
