  1. Yup. These trucks were tuned to be as efficient as possible, but lessened the drivability in the process. I can't wait to retune mine, but I'm waiting for the powertrain warranty to expire first.
  2. @mikeyk101, I just found the answer in the owners manual. Per the manual, the function might be necessary to perform to program the express up feature. The explanation is on page 52 under "Programming the Power Windows."
  3. Yeah, I think its something that only pops up when the car is started for the first time after the battery has been disconnected.
  4. I have seen/heard of this message displaying on various GM vehicles, but I'm not sure what purpose it has. I recently replaced the camshaft cover on a 2013 Cruze and when I put the negative terminal back on, the message appeared when I started the car.
  5. Have you checked to make sure that all of the screws and bolts on your front clip are tightened down? I’m assuming when you say a baby rattle noise, you’re referring to a plastic vibrating sound and not a metal vibrating sound right?
  6. Good to know that your looking for a truck across the bay. If you were to try to buy a truck on Delmarva, whether on the Eastern Shore of Maryland or Delaware, you would be paying a lot more for the same thing.
  7. The squeeze packs are absolutely worth it. It made the job much easier to do. Whoever thought of that idea is a genius.
  8. I guess I got lucky. My truck was painted in those areas with more than 1 coat.
  9. I don't use them for anything. I put my phone where your sunglasses are in the picture and my pen sits inside the console along my tire pressure gauge, ezpass reader, etc.
  10. I know this post is over two and a half years old, but can you tell me what your set up is for the in box lighting? Did you go with factory stuff and upgrade the bulbs or did you go with aftermarket?
  11. What brand did you go with? I installed Sylvania led bulbs and I haven't had any issues with them in the two years I've had them.
  12. Are you referring to the lines on the gauge or the chrome plastic piece around the gauge?
  13. I enjoy watching PF’s videos. He’s the reason why I went with the endurance blades.
  14. I’m literally going through the same issues you are right now. I’ve bought Michelin blades for years and they were always good until I tried these. I’m switching back to ACDelco blades. I’m just waiting for them in the mail.
  15. Yes, your local dealer will be able to do it, but only if you use factory sized wheels and tires. That is what my local dealer told me.
  16. That’s a good question. I’m not sure either. I’ve looked into other brands, but haven’t decided on which ones to get.
  17. It’s more than likely the leaf springs. They are an issue with this gen. Even if the pads on the springs are replaced, the clunking will come back after a few days. I would assume aftermarket leaf springs would really fix the issue.
  18. Have you tried disconnecting and then reconnecting your battery to see if that fixes the issue?
  19. Okay, thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
  20. I see that there are two options, the signature series and the oe fuel efficient. Which one is the better choice?
  21. Have you had any issues since it was switched and does your transmission shift smoother? I have been considering going with Amsoil for my transmission and transfer case the next time around. I put the severe gear fluid in my axles when I changed the driveline fluids at 30,000 miles.
  22. ACDelco has a regular mineral fluid and a synthetic one. They have different part numbers.
  23. If you don't go with Amsoil, I would think ACDelco would be your best bet.
  24. This past Saturday, I used CRC intake valve cleaner and on Sunday I changed the oil. I have a little over 33,000 miles on it now.
