  1. So that lift kit was just to raise the front? I thought it already came with a factory 2” lift. I hadn’t really paid much attention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah it was definitely louder than I anticipated but I swear it seems quieter now. It’s been several weeks. Maybe I’m just used to it now. I’ve been thinking about getting my Borla XR1 installed without the resonators. Had one on my 2005 5.3 and it sounded great. Let me know how you like that once you get it installed. 3. Yeah the drone with DFM is bad. Annoying as hell. I just kept it in manual and no higher gear than 9th. Doing that it never droned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Yeah I was surprised at how loud it was too. It should get a little quieter with time. Either that or I’m just used to it now. It doesn’t bother me or anyone else in my truck unless I punch it. Then it’s loud. It was a cheap fix until I figure out which exhaust system I want to go with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You will have drone unless you disable DFM. Until I received my Pulsar LT instead of putting it in drive, I used manual and kept it on L9 and never had any drone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Are you keeping the resonators? I’m curious as to how much louder it would be without them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. They used 3”. It’s 3” back after the factory muffler anyways. They just cut out the muffler and welded in the 3”. It didn’t take them but about 35-40 minutes to do. Like I said earlier, you can buy the delete pipe made specifically for that application for around $105-115 (depends on where you get it). https://www.americantrucks.com/afe-silverado1500-apollo-gt-series-muffler-delete-pipe-49c44114nm.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’d like to learn about adding the auto-dimming mirror as well. Can you link any threads you’ve found already. Did your truck come with 20” or 18” rims? My 6.2 has 18” and they had a 5.3 that had 20”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. No I had the flapper removed. A muffler delete pipe is sold but I just had a local muffler shop bend and weld one. I don’t really want to pay that price either, at least right now, so I went this option. At least until I decide which system I want. I do have a Borla XR1 round muffler that I may have them weld in and see what that sounds like. I’d have the resonators removed if I went that route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah my dad wants one for his 20 TB. I ordered mine just in time. He called their customer service and was told they are waiting on the wiring harnesses from wherever they get them from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’ve had mine for a little over two weeks now and haven’t had any issues. This past weekend I didn’t go anywhere for two or three days and my truck started right up. You may have had a bad unit. I had the Range device in my 2015 and never had the battery drain problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Can you attach the YouTube link. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I’ve been debating between the Borla S-Type or Corsa. In the mean time I did a muffler delete, leaving the resonators and I have to admit it sounds pretty damn mean. Especially on start up. I have a 2021 6.2 Trail Boss LT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. That’s the way they should’ve came from the factory. Looks great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
