  1. Truck looks great! Are you sure that's factory suspension? Looks perfectly level. Did you drop the back?
  2. I wouldn't have thought that initially either but I purchased a different brand with a larger capacity and just got it yesterday. They included a disclaimer about not warrantying if it freezes and check more routinely in colder climates. Maybe it was half full when it froze? Where would the oil go if the can was full? I emptied it before the trip btw, so not like I neglect to check it.
  3. Ha! Nothing wrong with changing that often. I do mine at 5k which I think is still more frequent than GM recommends on the newer trucks.
  4. Added....14k miles total. It shouldn't be burning a qt with any miles on it honestly. Not even at 7500 mile intervals between changes and I change every 5000.
  5. Sorry left that out didn't I. Updated... 2020 5.3 LT Trail Boss with 10 sp and DFM 14k miles. Only 1200 miles between oil change and lost oil.
  6. I'm more concerned about where the quart of oil went honestly.
  7. Changed oil before roadtrip from Kansas to Colorado little over a month ago. Kansas had single digit and below freezing temps just before we left. Truck ran great there and back. Few weeks later I noticed the truck started idling really rough. Checked the oil to find was almost an entire quart low. Drain plug and filter were clean and no pools on the garage floor. I run a JLT catch can which I also emptied before our trip. I suspect the can froze at some point between leaving for and returning from CO. Can anyone tell me what kind of damage I might have done if the can was frozen and prevented oil vapors from evacuating? Explain the loss of oil? Truck runs fine now and never threw any codes. 2020 5.3 LT Trail Boss 10sp with DFM, 14k miles. Only put 1200 miles on it between oil change and oil loss.
  8. To my knowledge the bose amp is cutting different frequencies from the rear than from the front. I dropped a pair of 7" 2-way coaxials in the rear doors and got much cleaner highs albeit the actual speaker output is still considerably lower when compared to the front speakers. I'm also running a T harness on the rear speaker plug to the amp and am curious about cutting lower frequencies on the front doors. Any insight?
  9. For those of you that have replaced the 2" block with 1" block on the Custom or LT Trail Boss.... Now that you've had the lower blocks in for a while, everything still good? Have any of you hauled or towed a heavy load with the lower blocks? Bottom out any easier with the stock rear shocks and bump stocks? Thanks!
  10. How do you feel about the swap now a year later? Sounds like this is a decent alternative to raising the front. Have you hauled or towed anything since swapping the blocks? Curious if the suspension bottoms out sooner/easier with the smaller block and stock bump stocks and rear shocks. Thanks!

  12. Lot of posts and threads about catch cans but I didn't see anything on this when I searched, so hoping a few can weigh in. Installed a JLT catch can on my 2020 LT Trail Boss with the 5.3L 10 speed and have noticed what sounds like an air/vac leak where the hose connects at the intake manifold valve. When I remove the catch can hoses and reinstall the stock PCV hose the sound is almost non-existent. No CELs or codes occur when running the can. Anyone else notice a leak on their cans? Thanks in advance!

  14. Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I know it's been a while since you posted. I'm running an inline speedo calibrator as well (rough country, not hypertech) and all has been fine until a CEL this morning with diagnostic code U0129. Curious what you ended up doing. Thanks!
  15. Looks great! Hows your mpgs and speedometer? Lot more rolling resistance with the 305 profiles compared to the stock 275s. Just curious. Thanks!
  16. Thanks! Happen to know weight of each wheel and where you found the offset and back space info?
  17. Anyone happen to know the wheel specs on the stock 18s? Trying to track down weight, backspace and offset but can't seem to find the info anywhere.
  18. For those that changed out the stock 18"s on the 2019/2020 Trail Boss, anyone happen to know the wheel specs?? I know they are 18 x 8.5 but I've tried searching weight, backspace and offset and can't find the info anywhere.
  19. Also curious how you like it. Would rather lower the rear than raise the front even more to achieve level or closer to level. Where did you get your 1" blocks if you don't mind sharing?
  20. Is that recalibration something you can have the dealership do?
  21. so math is hard for me but if he's technically going faster than what his speedometer says, does that mean he's traveling further than what his MPG gauge would be calculating making MPGs read lower than actual??
  22. 6.2 or 5.3L? And what load range are your nittos?
  23. Love the look and interested in swapping out the duratracs for these when I get my LTTB. How did the bigger tire change your speedometer and mpg?
