  1. My 2022 SLT with the 6.2L did not have DFM. It was listed as no retrofit also.
  2. Would have been nice if they used the OEM stock bumper in some way instead of selling some huge looking off road bumper needed to apply the use of a 12K winch. $1300 is not a bad price however for the bumper and winch combo setup.
  3. I was a separate line item on my window sticker since I ordered my Denali completely as I wanted. Only took 7 weeks to get the truck from the time I ordered. DENALI CARBONPRO EDITION 1,125.00 • CARBONPRO COMPOSITE BED
  4. I just got my 2023 Denali but I ordered it with all options as the Ultimate except with Jet Black interior. So I have the CarbonPro bed. I just got in today my OEM Rev Flip hard cover and OEM bed rubber liner. Part number Short Bed Tri-Fold Hard Tonneau Cover in Matte Black by REV® (for Models with CarbonPro™ Bed) - Associated Accessories Part No. 19433570 Bed Mat in Black with GMC Logo for Short Bed (for models with CarbonPro Bed) Part No. 84635351 I am going to save the $300 and do the install myself. here is a video on the install it appears.
  5. That is correct on the location of the 2020-21 / some 22 without refresh.. If you had wireless charging, it was located in the center console forward area just under the button arrangement for things like the Lane Assist, Parking, AutoShut off delete, traction control.. that pad area was just large enough for a iPhone Plus or Pro versions. It worked really well, but, that area also was for loose items catch all and that pad always had something on top of it. Then the refresh on my 22 SLT was under the center console lid area and my console lid had a recess for holding small items like a phone you might want to just throw in there to keep from sliding around. Then I have the 23 Denali Ultimate spec, but it is not an Ultimate because I dont like the Umber interior color, but it has the same wireless charging location as my SLT, but it does not work half the time like others. Then my center console lid is flat smooth across and full leather covered. I like it more I put my arm up there for a nice resting place. The recess in my 2020 and my 2022 SLT kind always bother my elbow with that recess. If I put my phone in there at least it gave my elbow something to rest on.
  6. I went on a 2300 mile round trip in my 6.2L 2022 refresh. 4500 lb car on a tandem axle aluminum trailer. Pulled like a boss. 85MPH no issues up hill and down hill.
  7. The SuperCruise seems to work good when it is activated. I was cruise control set at 80MPH and came upon a fairly sharp curve in the road and it took the curve without veering off the road into the shoulder area. If it had been my KIA EV6, it would have ran off the road as the HDA2 is good, but when a sharp corner is coming up, it will allow you to run off and no warning.
  8. I just ordered 11-11-22 a fully loaded 2023 Denali at Ultimate specs. I dislike the interior of the Ultimate, but the dealer could order 1 Denali in November and they ordered for me. It arrived at the dealership 12-26-22.. I picked it up 12-27-22 I have the Wireless and it does not work well like many others have posted recently. Some are saying it is the rubber mat which I tried to charged without the rubber mat and sure enough it worked great. Then the SuperCruise ( SC ). GM was doing $999 3 years subscription with OnStar and having the SC work. Well, that did not go over well and now the 3 years is bundled in the MSRP and you get the 3 years subscription and use it for the 3 years. It works ok.. but if you live on a major road like me that is not mapped in Google for SC, then SC does not work. Then if a new lane is added to a tollway in the last 1-2 years, that lane is not mapped in Google and SC does not work. My KIA EV6 has HDA2 and it drives itself based on the stripes in the road and works excellent. I wish that SC was based on stripes and GPS provided by Google Maps. I got the Carbon Pro bed. Just ordered my REV flip hard top and rubber mat for the bed. Together that was $1400 free ship to my dealer. I will install it all myself and save the $300 the dealer wanted for install.
  9. The call just came in this week that the parts are in at the dealer I purchased from. I have already traded the truck off and no need to worry about them removing the dash to install a couple of module boxes. I am enjoying my 2023 Denali Carbon Pro and it has only one RetroFit for the parking assist which I have no worry over.
  10. So this truck must be paid for and you dont even have Comp and Collision?
  11. My 2022 Refresh SLT Texas Edition had those buttons. The parking assist was on RetroFit, but the button was there. Even my SLT had real buttons for the heated and vented seats, but the modules were missing and were on RetroFit also.
  12. I dont think it is any different than to think In 2003 my Chev Silverado was $42000 with 6.0L and fully loaded as they come in 2003. Sold for $3000 in march 2020. In 2000 my house was $150,000 on an acre of dirt. No plans to sell, paid off now. Today, my 2023 GMC Denali with Carbon Pro bed and loaded to an Ultimate spec was $84000 My house today if I brought it on the market as is would be $475,000 So if you buy the best today, expect to pay the high price of time and inflation.
  13. My experience on ordering a 2023 and at my dealer lot for deliver to me. Order a 2023 GMC Denali with Carbon Pro package, gloss black 22'' wheels, 6.2L engine, SuperCruise, Wireless charging. Order at dealer 11-11-22 , in production 11-21-22. Delivery to dealer 12-27-22. Built in Fort Wayne IL plant. The dealership was amazed at the build and delivery speed of this truck. They first said Feb or March ordering it in November. MSRP no dealer add ons. $84000 No RetroFits on seats or steering wheel. Only RetroFit is for parking assist.
  14. I sure hope I dont miss my 2003 Silverado HD2500. That thing had a 6.0L that was a workhorse of power, and never used any oil in 3000 to 4000 mile oil changes. I used conventional oil on it since it was new in 2003. Traded it in at 225,000 miles and I can assure you if you removed a valve cover, you could eat a bowl of cereal from the inside of it it would be free of oil stains and burn smell. I had by 2022 SLT 6.2L only 9000 miles, but the DFM was on RetroFit and did not work. It had 4 oil changes in that 9000 miles and never used any oil, and the power of the engine was really good. Got rid of this truck do to RetroFit heated seats, no HUD, and no SuperCruise. Now have the 2023 Denali Carbon Pro 6.2L and hope that the DFM does not effect it in any negative way because I think it is on the engine and likely active. Window sticker did not show RetroFit. I always remove the break in oil at 500 miles. Then first oil change at 2500 miles, 2nd oil change at 6000 miles, and usually 3500 to 4500 miles there after on every change. I dont baby my engine break in. The word abuse however is not part of my process either. I use to build race engines that had to go from engine stand to dyno, and race track, so I know a few things about break in process.
  15. I have a newly built ( 11-11-2022 ) 2023 Denali Premium Package with wireless charging, but guess what, no tray in the armrest console. Solid leather.
  16. My 2020 Chev High Country would only do 99MPH My 2022 GMC SLT would do 112MPH My 2023 GMC Denali will only do 106MPH
  17. Helps the Goggle bots to for searches that pertain to this forum if the category is correct.
  18. If you think the top side of the engine compartment is dirty, you better never slide up under the thing and look at the transmission and oil pan area. You will be highly disappointed what collects there off the roads.
  19. I just traded in a 2022 refresh SLT with wireless charging feature for a 2022 refresh Denali with the wireless charging feature. Well, the SLT never ever had an issue charging my iPhone 10 max pro or my iPhone 13 max pro. So this new Denali is a hit or miss on charging my iPhone 13 max pro now it seems. I only have 88 miles on it, but, I throw the phone in the charger just to have a nice place for it and expect it to charge as I go. This new truck has an issue it appears. I need to return to the dealer monday and I am going to see if I can get to my old SLT and take the rubber pad from it and exchange this Denali pad. It is ridiculous my SLT never had a charging issue. If curious why I got the Denali, It has working heated seats and SuperCruise. I been waiting 6 months on RetroFit parts for my SLT and tried of waiting on parts. Good thing I dont mind using a cable to charge my iPhone if needed on long trips it looks like if the SLT rubber pad does not fix the issue.
  20. Wow, that is nice. Too bad it is not the refresh 22 model and with a 6.2L engine instead of that 5.3L. Get the VIN and run it in google. If it was sold by CoPart or IAA auctions, the wrecked pictures of it might still be online and you can how bad it was before they fixed it. I brought a Nissin Maxima that only had 66K miles and was rebuilt title, but, I found the wreck pictures and it was hit so lightly in the left front, no frame damage. Only the header and left suspension needed replaced. The shop did a really good job and the car drove excellent. I put 15K more miles on it with zero issues and resold it for exactly what I paid for it.
  21. I can update on the heated seats at least. Dealer I brought the truck from in April just called today and indicated the heated seats module is in. My truck does not need the buttons and faceplate. See below, too bad I just traded it in for a 2022 Denali. I dont need the heated steering wheel as mine was in place in April when I brought it. Dealer more local to me offered to get the parts on the retrofit, but, the heated module was missing, so they gave me the part number and I brought the module. It appears in 5 day time now, it still has not shipped from a GM warehouse like I was told it would. The dealer indicated they would take the part and install it with the other parts that did come in. Well, no need now, the truck is traded in today. As of today, I solved the issue myself. I traded in this 2022 SLT 6.2L for a 2022 Denali 6.2L with all options ..folding running boards, wireless charging, and even SuperCruise. So many of the options missing from even the 2023 Ultimate coming builds. The only retrofit is parking assist. I could care less about it anyway, so I will not worry to have it installed even if I can in the future. I got one of those $3000 credit from GM for the cancelation of my Ultimate order from last January, I decided that $3000 and my $3000 would put me in a fully loaded Denali and solve the issue of heated seats and SuperCruise. 54 miles so far and it is nice to have heated leather seats now.
  22. Some of the heated steering wheels did not get installed even it is listed on the window sticker. There is either a dummy button, or no button at all. Those 2 issues will not be resolved from what I am reading and told by my dealer.
  23. The way I understand the RetroFit options, the heated steering wheel is not going to be covered. The button missing means the steering wheel is not even a heated model to have the module upgraded to get the feature. The way I read it was the steering wheel is too complicated to remove and replace. My truck has the heated steering wheel and it actually works. The heated seats / vented seats however will need a module and another part that does under the dash. However, if your truck was supposed to have heated / vented seats and you have dummy buttons in the dash now, they are not going to replace any of those parts now. I have real buttons in my console, they just do not work. I finally got the letter 4 weeks ago, and the dealer just called today and advised the module and wiring harness are now in to go with the other module they had for some time. I am supposed to get that upgrade next week. I actually have a better plan to trade off the truck this week as 3 trucks arrived monday with SuperCruise and I want that feature with the heads up, which is yet another item my current 2022 truck is missing due parts shortage in April.
  24. The glare sunshine reflection off the left vent on the dash. Mine catches the sun just right at times and puts a reflection in the window and then the mirror looks odd.. needs a black piece of tape across it.
  25. I called the dealer I brought my truck from and they indicated that noone from their location with a 1500 series has gotten any updates. Only some SUV's have received retrofits from there.
