  1. I noticed that top tier thing the other day at Costco. It’s the only place I’ve filled up (2nd tank) and this is my first diesel so I really haven’t gotten diesel anywhere else. And probably won’t for that matter. Diesel prices are all over the place here. I live in a small town so the two local stations typically have higher prices than what I could get going into the city. Even with regular gas, the local stations are typically 40 cents higher. With diesel, I’ve seen as high as $3.47 locally. Costco actually had diesel for $1.93 which was cheaper than regular gas at $1.99.
  2. That’s actually the piece I was referring to in the picture. And for the same reason, utilizing the ground behind it. I pulled up the sill near the seat and worked my way forward. I was trying to slowly pull on it and eventually started pulling a little harder and then SNAP.
  3. Yeah, I figured. I'm just all sketched out now. Here is the panel I broke the clips off of. Here are the two tabs that broke off.
  4. Normally, I don't usually have any problems removing interior dash and trim pieces. But I have had a hell of a time getting trim pieces that have the metal clips on them off. Like these ones... https://www.amazon.com/ALLMOST-1994-2017-Interior-Clips-15748479/dp/B07HRWRMTC/ I broke off both of the plastic tabs on the trim piece on the lower passenger kick panel (trying to find a ground). I was trying to remove my A pillar to replace the dash speakers and I'm afraid to yank on it as I can see there is the same style plastic tab with metal clip. What am I doing wrong?
  5. I really like Pro Clip mounts as they're typically dash mounted and don't move around. I've used them on 2 other vehicles and just got one for my silverado last week. https://www.proclipusa.com/product/855456-proclip-angled-dash-mount Note: Pro Clip has mounts and phone holders separate. This is only for the mount itself which has an AMPS mounting pattern on it. I then used it in conjunction with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EVRS7P2/ The Pro Clip mount says it's for the right side of the screen, but I ordered it with the intention of wanting it on the left. I assumed it would work as the dash vents are the same size. It's technically angled away from me, but my phone holder has a ball mount so it works fine.
  6. Just got this last weekend. 2020 Silverado 1500 RST with the Duramax.
