  1. Looks great! I think this is definitely the best way to do grille lights on the new Silverado. Round lights look cheap. These fit right into the slots of the grill. When not on, you can't even see them.
  2. Sorry I'm very late to responding to these questions. The smoke lens from ebay were installed in this manner: (1) Remove grill (pretty easy) (2) Get some correctly gauged wiring in addition to the wire that comes in the kit (3) Connect an "add a fuse" (4) Attached the lights into the grill slats from the back of the grille with some vhb tape.
  3. How do y’all feel about stock UCAs on a 6” lift which maintains factory geometry with lift knuckles? Are upgraded UCAs mandatory or failure inevitable?
  4. Sort of both. The design is from the tattered flag decal on inshanedesigns but I didn’t like their vinyl material. So I took the image and had it custom cut onto Avery Dennison Supreme Wrap Satin Black. I love it!
  5. Got my tailgate done! Wanted to spice it up after debadging it but didn’t wanna do the letters like everyone does.
  6. portable air compressor and a tire repair kit
  7. Its Mahogany on Black. The package number is K1778-100. https://katzkinvrs.com/Res/designPDFs/Design Deck - 2019 Chevrolet Silverado.pdf
  8. The RBP’s do not use the ODB port. One of the reasons I prefer them actually. Here are some more pics.
  9. You can’t even see it when installed. It’s way more subtle than the promo material leads you to believe. I have a 6” lift and I have to try to look under to see it. Can’t see it from the side.
  10. Check out the RBP Stealth Power steps. 2 motors per side and better warranty than AMP. I’ve had them for 5 months and love them.
  11. Just installed these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3pcs-Smoke-Lens-Amber-LED-Center-Grille-Lights-w-Bracket-For-19-Chevy-Silverado-/133399163138
  12. FYI, to get a shop to install a full Katzkin package including the leather itself should be no more than $1,300.
  13. I had a custom fab shop do it. They do 4-5 complete installs per day due to agreements with local dealerships. I guess a ton of people are buying lower optioned vehicles and doing Katzkin. The quality, to me, seems to be as good if not better than OEM. The only thing they didnt do was the center console lid. They said they couldn't figure out out to get it off. I think they must just leave it trimmed in black leather because most people install OEM colors, so being as mine was different they didn't do. My neighbor (an auto interior refurb business owner) did it.
  14. Just got my 2019 RST Z71 back. Before and after pics.
  15. You really don’t see the logo at all on the RBPs and no one would even notice the wires for the few seconds the doors are open. The install wasn’t bad at all. So far I love them. Tech support was super helpful as well.
  16. The RBP ones use small strong magnets on the doors and door sills to trigger deployment. The RBPs also have 2 motors per side and I think the warranty is better than AMPs.
  17. Check out the RBP Stealth Power Steps. I installed them on my 2019 RST with a 7” lift. I think they sit closer to the rocker rail than the AMPs. I was asked to do a video of them here: Apologies for the quality..my first video. Also..I’m getting Katzkin’d on Wednesday and should have a video up soon after.
  18. Build Date 11/18 RST Crew Cab just found the rear window leak on the driver's side. Have appt with my local dealer tomorrow morning. Bought the truck slightly used at the end of May, and it's sat in my garage since because I'm working from home. I came across this thread and decided to test it out.
  19. I got them off americantrucks.com. I don’t know about the AMP steps but on these all it would take is to interfere with one magnet on each side. Either remove it or maybe placing another small magnet over the door magnets would work. These do have a bypass switch that allows you to turn them off but they retract and stay there in the off position.
  20. I guess that depends on your definition of "exposed".
  21. Finally got around to selling my rough country nerf steps and installing the RBP Stealth Power Steps on my lifted 2019 RST/Z71 Crew Cab. Really, the only semi tough part of the install is removing the B pillar trims to install the door sensors. I chose this set instead of the AMP Research because it has two motors per side, doesn't tie up my OBD port, and comes with a 5 year warranty versus AMP 3 year. Also, they were $100 cheaper. So far, I love them!
