  1. The sway bar link should come off easily without an impact gun. You just need to hold the top of it with some channel locks and be sure to be careful not to damage the boot while holding it steady. There isnt a ton of torque on the link itself, although I cannot remember the ft lb specs per GM.
  2. @nobaddays, thanks! Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you, here are some more angles...
  3. For sale - like new 22x9 wheels and tires off a 2020 Sierra 1500 Denali. Wheels are in perfect condition and tires have only 1300 miles on them. One tire does have a plug in it (just my luck to get a flat @ 600 miles), and they do not have TMPS sensors as I pulled them for use in my new setup. Stock Alenza tires. - $1600 picked up/meet within reasonable distance of the Seattle area, or I will ship at buyer's expense. Thanks!
  4. So I took my rig with only 1400 miles into the dealer today for a CEL. Code was for the battery controls module connection. Turns out my charge air cooler is leaking and dripping into the control module plug, causing the CEL. Anyone else had this issue before? They are ordering the parts and I go in next week for the fix. However I leave tomorrow to tow a 7000 lb trailer 300 miles away, and back. Should I be concerned about driving it? They said it will be fine, but would like to make sure. Also - is the “charge air cooler” the same as an inter cooler? thanks!
  5. Dub Luxe 22x9.5 +20 in gloss black with Ridge Grapplers 285/50 Readylift 2” leveling kit
  6. All done for a bit I think... front window tint, leveling kit, stubby aluminum antenna, black GMC badges, and 22.9.5 +20 Dub Luxe wheels with 285/50/22 ridge grapplers
  7. Yes, that helps a ton, thank you! I’ll call the dealer today.
  8. @Ajnthony any update on these codes? I have a Sierra with 1300 miles and got the same two codes after installing a leveling kit.
  9. @Jonofmac just to confirm - the AT4 skid plate you ordered from GM Parts Warehouse.... did it come painted gloss black? Thx!
  10. For me personally, I love it and would recommend it. I like my steering wheel a bit lower and it blocks my gauge cluster, so the HUD has been a godsend. I also like the lane assist, blind spot alert, and camera views. Well worth the extra cash if you plan to keep the rig for a while. That $5500 should Be cut down by 15% or so when you negotiate the deal as well.
  11. I pulled my front bracket and although illegal in WA, I’m taking my chances. There are only two holes which don’t bother me too much, personally. That said there are all kinds of sites out there that sell the OEM lower valance/skid plate. You could replace it if you really want the cleanest look. https://www.google.com/shopping/product/1?q=sierra+at4+lower+valance&client=safari&hl=en-us&biw=414&bih=719&tbs=vw:l,ss:44&prmd=sinv&prds=num:1,of:1,epd:7138793249985547595,prmr:1,pid:7138793249985547595,cs:1
  12. I had Duratracs on my F150 before picking up my Sierra. The mileage was horrible, as was the ride quality. I lost about 3-4 mpg with them and they womped like hell on the freeway. Had KO2s on my Jeep and loved them. Decided on Ridge Grapplers for the Sierra, getting them put on in a few days. Will see how they do. Best of luck!
  13. Welcome. I have the same rig, just picked it up a few weeks ago and it has been great so far after 1250 miles.
  14. I've had this issue a bit too and like some of the others... have noticed it will happen with only a slight decline in wherever I am parked. My driveway is sloped upward toward the house and I prefer to back in, which makes it a royal pain in the ass, actually. @megatron51 does this happen to you also when you're parked uphill? If so, there could definitely be something else at play.
  15. Just installed Readylift 2” leveling kit. New wheels and tires going on at end of the week. 2020 Denali.
  16. Well, for anyone else doing this install themselves, easy solution... I had to remove the bottom nut from the sway bar link to allow the LCA to drop down. Just be sure to support the LCA as it drops to keep it from dropping too low and rapidly. Also be sure to free the half shaft from the hub so there is some play to prevent it from hyper-extending.
  17. Best of luck with this and wish I could help. That’s super weird and sucks to hear. I’ve also heard of all kinds of issues when battery level gets low. Interested to hear what the issue with yours is once you get it figured out.
  18. You guys are awesome, thank you! Did this last night and took me less than 10 minutes. Going to do the tailgate this week. Then level kit, wheels and tires, and we will see what’s next before my wife tells me to stop.
  19. So I’ve got my rig taken apart and ready to install the Readylift 2” lift kit, lower strut spacers. Here’s my problem - I can’t get the lower control arm to drop low enough to have room for the spacer between it and the strut. Anyone else run into this? Any suggestions on how I can get some more room down there?
  20. I picked up a set of the OEM black GMC letters for a 2020 Sierra. The tailgate should be pretty simple, however my understanding for the front is that the entire grille needs to come off in order to swap them out. Anyone have or know of a good video tutorial out there for this, to save me some time and potential frustration? TIA
  21. Your stock wheels likely sit approx. 3/4 inch inside the wheel well, give or take. So if you go with a larger spacer than that, you’ll have some poke. My suggestion would be to go with what the shop recommends.
  22. Did you sell locally? Here on the forums? Elsewhere? $1000 seems a bit low to me, but I could be wrong. There are sets going for over $2k I’m on eBay, some even listed as high as $3k for new.
