  1. There's nothing here to see. I just plugged my s10e in with USb c.... 29% charged, 1hr 29min till full charge. Plugged into regular USB port next to it. 29% charged, 1hr 29min till full charge. Same.
  2. Same scenario with the mailbox here.... I just leave the door closed but not completely shut.....no beeps. Solved.
  3. Call GM and tell them to start making your monthly payments. People have had success with that.
  4. That I'm not sure about. Not sure if they just left the same hardware but no electronics.
  5. Yes I'm aware of the Range device but the faulty DFM style lifters aren't removed. The lifters can still come apart.
  6. My question is, is there such a thing? I know it exists for afm.... What about dfm?
  7. It's interesting you say that they swapped over the injectors, etc. Just got mine back from the dealer after a week and a half and of course they couldn't get the truck to throw the light. I get it back at lunch and sure enough right after leaving work it throws the code. Drove straight to the dealer, they can't see anything other than the P0300 and the misfire count on cylinder 1. They believe it to be a bad injector since the truck seems to run fine, even during the code. Maybe they're on to something. It would certainly explain your issues with the new engine if they were swapped over.
  8. BB, exactly the same as mine. Got the truck back today and then leaving work it flashed again. Drove straight to the dealer. They can't see anything but the code P0300. They ordered an injector for cylinder 1, we shall see. Makes sense because if it was a vlave spring or lifter it would be constantly misfiring.
  9. I just got my 21 5.3 back today from flashing SEL light. Throws P0300 code each time. It always seems to happen after it's been run once that day and sitting for 30 minutes to a couple hours. Then once I drive away under light acceleration and speeds around 15-25mph it flashes the SEL light within the first 1/4 mile of driving. Today i got the truck back at lunch, drove to work and then when I left 3hrs later it started flashing. Drove straight to the dealer and didn't shut the truck off. They said they'd be able to read it and see the snapshot of what happened. Well they couldn't see the snapshot but they're going to order an injector for cylinder 1 since it has a huge amount of misfires. Tech told me the injectors and lifters are junk in this truck. Very disappointing to hear, he recommends doing an afm/dfm delete. But he wasn't sure if there's a dfm delete for the 21's. Anyway, I'll report back once they change the injector.
  10. What's the build date of your truck? Look at the inside driver door sticker for a mm/yy code.
  11. He means SEL or CEL. And to Mat, I have the exact same issue exactly how you explain it. Start the truck (usually after it sits for my lunch break) and drive slowly out of my neighborhood and I get the flashing SEL which means the truck is misfiring. On star doesn't see anything but my code reader shows misfires on cylinder 1 and 6. Truck has been at the dealer for a over a week, they say they can't get it to do it. I tell them who cares, you see the misfires when you scan it.... Fix it. I've been under the impression that eventually it will break a lifter or valve spring. Although the dealer says they're seeing weird fuel readings on those injectors.... I've told them I'll come get the truck tomorrow, I'll drive it, it'll do it again and I'm bringing it right back and calling GM and starting the lemon law option or buyback process if they don't fix it. They claim they can't rip the engine apart because there are no parts available. He believes there may very well be a recall for trucks built from 6/20 thru 10/20. We shall see.

  14. Glad you've got taken care of (fingers crossed). I just dropped my truck off this morning and am now in a rental. P0300 and flashing SEL this past Saturday, again Monday and again yesterday. It now has 4650 miles on the clock and it seems to be flashing the light more frequently. It all started around 1350 miles a few months ago. This is the 4th time it's been to the dealer. I've told them what I believe it to be after reading all these stories on here and the Facebook AT4 group. It has to be a broken valve spring or failing lifter at this point. We shall see.
  15. When would a high vacuum condition occur? First few minutes after sitting? Because both times mine has done it, it was within a 1/2 mile of leaving my house after sitting for an hour.
  16. Is this the noise I'm hearing from under the rear of the truck whenever I hit a bump in the road? Just noticing it because the weather is turning and windows have been going down. I own a 2021 elevation 5.3
  17. Just had this a couple weeks ago. I called onstar several times and they kept telling me the that they sent a signal to it and it would go away next time I started the truck. It never did. Finally I went back to a dealer and they said they called onstar and found out when I originally bought the truck that I didn't do the initial phone call or didn't agree to the terms and conditions. So I called them back and told them and they gave me another free trial and this time I got an email and agreed to the T&C. Everything is working normal now. So I'd call them and tell them you're having an issue with your trial. They should get you straightened out.

  19. That sounds like a solid plan B. I just don't know exactly how we'd figure it out without chopping a dash speaker connector off the truck and sending it to you?
  20. Yes, that's my plan but it would be nicer to find a connector. Just seems strange that the connectors would be available for the doors but not for the dash.

  22. I'm waiting on door harnesses. I'm wondering if the dash speaker connector is the same as the door connectors? I'd rather not cut any wiring when I install my system.
  23. Excellent, have you had the door speakers out yet? Any chance they're the same? I'm still waiting on my harnesses to show up so I have nothing to compare these to. I don't see any pics of the connectors....
  24. I don't see any pics of the connectors.... Did they unplug as one or did each wire unplug separately?
  25. I see. I was going to say when I left the dealer my truck radio was still in demo mode and everything I would turn the truck off it would erase any settings and revert back to am radio. Doesn't sound like the issue though. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good luck!
