  1. I just unplugged and replugged in the factory connections, never unhooked battery etc never had any issue whatsoever it HAS been to the dealer for an oil change since install/ uninstall.
  2. No issues for me as of yet but only 6500 miles, I heard that they were running em at the dealership on high idle for x amount of time and then selling em if they passed the pre-run I think it was in here as a TSB? Anyway with a 60k warranty I am not that worried for a long while.
  3. Traction control, ESP, ABS etc can be a nightmare with these newer vehicles and tuning the ECU, the C8's you actually end up with nearly every light on the dash flashing at you when it is on the dyno. You have to unplug the wheel sensors etc for it to work properly. AEmedic is it home with you now and driving it?
  4. Won't it need an actual dyno tune for safety or does HP tuners have one on the shelf for a whipple and that exhaust set up? It seems in my experience that each vehicle can vary on the tune efficiency. LOVE IT and following.
  5. I did not update and I did not ever remove the neg terminal I never saw that in the instructions to do so, however I have removed a few ecu's and never disconnected the neg just for that.
  6. That is where I bought my RST in the fall, 10k off msrp they have a nice LTZ there now for a good price but not my first color choice. All their trucks are below msrp with cash incentives etc. Considering selling mine now where I am an replacing it with an upgrade but I have to consider taxation where I live is 10%
  7. No, I have installed and uninstalled mine 3x now no CEL as of yet. I have ran premium and regular unleaded with it installed.
  8. Agreed also I found a dealer up in Kalispell thatI have worked with before still selling below msrp and nice trucks too not wt or lt only models
  9. Sorry thought this may help double posted you guys
  10. I am trying to be "normal" with my foot as that can be however the prelim test was highway driving thus far. My plan is the exact rt with cruise control both directions one dfm active the other inactive same speed over 40 miles each way, as we know city mpg has too many variables. I have gotten 24mpg consistantly on trips with this truck in AZ and Nevada at 74mph with dfm still active.
  11. I have only one flapper on my 2020 6.2 right before the muffler, you had 2?
  12. If paid off I would keep it esp with the upgrades you have done and the low mileage you have. Soooo much life left in it and the currently unstable economic outlook.
  13. Yes I run it on 3 actually and YES sport mode does what Sport more usually does, holding the rpms etc for shifting, myself it is a bit too much for my use with this truck if I use that combo. I have found no negatives really from it the auto start stop is nice not too think about I have not done a thorough test on mpg difference on the highway with dfm active vs deactivated, however in my preliminary testing I was getting better with dfm working. Which I know no one wants to hear...haha.
  14. Pulsar LT for DFM shut off, auto start stop feature and throttle response.
  15. I am running one for a couple weeks now, can I answer any questions for you?
  16. Run em at 40 and the middles will wear out quickly run em at 35 as stated unless going way over the weight the ruck was designed for. The E rated 10ply tire will be plenty stiff in the corners and will overall be a firmer feeling ride. 35# and keep en eye on the wear.
  17. Start looking for a 2021 replacement in outlying areas, I found one that I may swap my 6300 mile RST for as this one is a 2021 vs 2020 and is a High Country trim level vs my loaded up RST BOTH have the 6.2 liter, I was offered online 3k less than I paid (tax included) on instant offer from 2 local dealers of which I know I can do better either through carmax or private sale. My credit would get me the 0% for 72 months but no cash incentives that way so I need to run the math both ways real quick and see what is best for me.
  18. so, was it 1 or 3 inches? AND were they $$ or pesos?
  19. Try these guys out, it may work Sorry they were not authentic Doug Thorley brand
  20. I have not noticed and "Gotchas" it does indeed do all it says and is an easy install and tune. Overall strictly IMO it is about $150 bucks higher than I feel is worth it to me, I may sell mine and get ready for a new ECM and tune, YES that is alot more $$$ but that is what I am thinking. Cheers
  21. Powerteq is what is all over the box and literature. Holleys website does list them as their products under Brands https://www.holley.com/ https://www.powerteq.com/powerteqcontact.html
  22. I appreciate the link! Looks bad glad to hear it is not, this truck still will not see any real offroading but that is great info. Thanks again
  23. I believe that "back pressure" has been debunked, the guys that make these exhausts for a living must have learned some things even if by accident. I do appreciate any and all input though. Will know about the type S Borla today. Still going to Dyno before and after and THEN add a CAI and dyno again to see if these combined actually do anything in the real World. Cheers
  24. Agreed, I live right by Black Bear Performance and plan on a dyno tune once the code is cracked. I am trying to avoid the ECU swap away from the factory one and I don't believe that 3" pipes will be detrimental in any way and will likely carry on through a cam and some other upgrades as the truck ages. I just found a Borla S type though that I may grab as it is a great price right now and do more exhaust work later on. Cheers
  25. Headers and tune would kill my drivetrain warranty I believe that is why not planning on that route. 2.5" to 3" showed a HUGE difference in gains on a video I watched on youtube Motor Trend channel and very little price difference really.
