  1. Take the belt off and try to spin the compressor pully by hand.
  2. When engage the nut in the middle will spin. When not engage the nut will not spin. I tried to upload a clip but file is too big.
  3. Probably a bad compressor pully/clutch
  4. The outer part is the clutch.
  5. Will do when I'm off work. I have a 5.3 1500. The compressor clutch look the same like any others I worked on before. Same concept, engage when it's on, disengage when off. Take a picture of your compressor and clutch.
  6. Just confirmed on my 15 LT 1500, the AC clutch engage only when AC is on. It spin freely when not engaged. There's nothing special about the AC clutch. Sounds like your AC clutch locked up.
  7. Don't worry, most of the response on here are; 1. Go to the dealer 2. Go to one of the site sponsors 3. Try 1 or 2 again This is the wrong forum for DIY'er.
  8. As stated above, MAF or vacuum leak.
  9. Since you replaced parts, reset the codes and see which one comes back.
  10. Someone reported that cleaning ground contacts brought back their horn, it honk when using their key fob. If anything try cleaning the two grounds under your radiator and see if this help.
  11. You need one of those AC guage with Low and High port connector. Check with your local Autozone to see if they still rent them out, at one point selected Autozone rents them out just not sure about now. Connects to both low and high port with AC on max and see where the pressure is. Reason for warm air could be due to low freon (leak), blockage ( needs pressure from both low and high side to determine this), overcharged also causes warm air.
  12. One more advice, if its under warranty than have dealer handle it, if out of warranty than troubleshoot first.
  13. My advice is, check your pressure first, is it full or near empty? If near empty = pull a vacuum, does it hold vacuum? No = leak somewhere, possibly same cause as what most reported. Always troubleshoot first.
  14. Sounds like you got one of those tall R134 can with trigger, guage and hose. Those guage is garbage. Measure the pressure again with a decent set of guage and start from there.
  15. Programing is required unless it's already preprogrammed to your vin. Do not buy if the part number is not listed from above because you will most likely have headaches dealing with the situation. Just ask if you need clarification.
  16. Try a new cable and check if your phone needs to be updated.
  17. Does it get colder when in manual? Or the same for both? Could be issue with your AC system.
  18. Is his setup OEM? I don't use Apple, I do the same as MikeBMW for AA and it also works with no issue...
  19. I'm not following if there's a problem or if you just asking on how the auto climate works.
  20. On passenger side just behind the bottom radiator hose, you can't see it but you can feel it.
  21. Faulty controller module? Got one free when I did the Carplay/AA conversion and it could never go to max. Put my original back and it works.
  22. I would start with the easy stuff first before taking things apart.. Drain plug, check along side of radiator to see if it's wet.
  23. The clip you attached doesn't work...
  24. Check the ground connection by driver dashboard. Note - remove your battery cable when removing this ground as it will sparks.
  25. As long as it's from the same year truck and same trim than it would most likely to work.
