I would use 2'' rear drop shackles. I did on my last truck 2WD and it was pretty much leveled and looked good. Pic of the truck in my avatar shows this.
I'm about to pull the trigger on this kit. Any issues or concerns anyone has had with this kit? I want to go only a 2/4 and this seems like the best quality kit. Any other lowering kits i should consider instead? Lowering experts advice would be appreciated as this is my first time lowering a truck. Thanks.
Yes, ended up taking it to the dealership and they fixed it. Said there was a piece loose where the latch is located that allows the seat to stay up when you fold up the seat. It was allowing metal on metal contact.
Bumping an old thread. How can i find out if my truck has the mono leaf rear suspension or not? I have a 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation Crew Cab 2WD truck with the 2.7T motor. Sorry I'm new at this. Thanks.
My new 23' GMC Elevation model surprisingly didn't come with the rear liners. My truck is white and it looks off without them. The dealership quoted me $175 for the set and $400 to install which I thought was outrageous. Any aftermarket replacements that anyone recommends and how was the install? I've seen Husky and Rugged liner sells some but I'm not sure how hard these are to install.
