  1. I've been running 5w-30 here in MN but only have cold starts leaving work or out of town as I keep the garage at 50F.
  2. As of 9/20/22 https://gm-techlink.com/?p=16808
  3. PF63 P/n 12707246
  4. Is there a GM source that states what type of fluid to use in the front and rear gearcases? My manual states see dealer. Edit: found in the sticky done by newdude.
  5. The manual states not to use tow / haul with less than 75% of the vehicle's rating. Every post I've seen on this issue is due to using tow / haul when not recommended by GM. 6. I believe there was a bulletin stating that the original spec was snug, then 3/4 turn; it was updated to snug, then 1 full turn. Found it: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10209921-0001.pdf
  7. I'm guessing the app uses data from somewhere and the temp at the bottom uses the air temp sensor in the mirror.
  8. 2022 Chev 3500 LT Gas. I'm having an issue where when I'm parked in the sun and drive down the road after a mile or so, I hear a groaning / whirring down by the drivers kick panel. Almost like a phone vibrating 3-4 times then goes away. Did you have any noises? I don't have any MIL illuminated. In the morning or not hot out, no noise. If I lift my foot off the accelerator during the noise, it stops instantly.
  9. It depends on the current constraints. Sounds like the mirrors are on constraint right now. If you need them, ask the dealer to leave them on and you'll wait until the order is picked up. I wish I had done that beck when I ordered my LT last year. I wanted the Conv. PKG II and they said it wasn't available and found out they offered them again a month later... For some reason they like to get the orders picked up right away. Has something to do with their allocations as well.
  10. I had the same thing happen to me when showing my brother my new truck. He hopped in the passenger seat, checked it out and hopped out, shut the door. Keys locked on top of the center console... Only thing we can figure is he accidentally hit the lock button when hopping out of the truck. I tried hitting the small silver button on the driver's door and would not unlock even though it worked before and after this event. Long story short, I called OnStar (free trial expired) and they offered a "one time courtesy unlock" for me.
  11. I don't think that one is factory. Here's a video of comparing 2 different ones. I really like the Boost Auto product.
  12. I didn't know there was an OEM one without swapping out the full console? (I have full center console) Do you have a link?
  13. GM picks up orders every Thursday. If your order wasn't being picked up, it is due to either the dealer doesn't have allocation for the model or you have an active constraint and should you choose to drop that option and the dealer has the allocation, it would be picked up.
  14. I just installed the Boost Auto product above. Easy installation and works well!
  15. When you press the switch on the tailgate, can you hear the lock actuating? I found on mine, I have to slightly pull on the top handle / depression with my fingers as I push the button with my thumb and it opens normally. If I just simply push the switch, it's 50/50 if the tailgate will drop due to you're actually pushing the tailgate closed as you push the button...
  16. Dropped by the dealer yesterday to have them take a look. All is well and I'm ready to let 'er buck now.
  17. I was able to mount to the top bolt on the bell housing.
  18. Check this out. Haven't used it myself. https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/amplifier-integration-harness/lphgm71
  19. I'm starting to assume it's supposed to go directly above. If I can't get it, I'll bring it in. Thanks!
  20. Was changing my oil last night and found this guy hanging on the right side of the transmission. Does anyone know where it's supposed to be attached? Has a clip that appears to slide over a stud.
  21. Thanks all. I might be over exaggerating the noise / vibration but thought I'd check here 1st as my dealer is an hour away. @MTU Alum I found a bulletin PIT5214A that explains the Picoscope testing. Cool stuff. Thanks! https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10115053-9999.pdf
  22. 2022 Chevy 3500HD LT SRW CC 8k miles. I'm noticing a vibration under load when "lugging" at the bottom of 3rd gear, mostly. It's felt in the pedal and floorboard. It goes away once the RPM's rise. Also, when going constant ~35-55mph unloaded and accidentally hit the accelerator from a bump (can do on purpose too), the exhaust makes a very noticeable booming noise from under the cab. It does this also with cruise control set and bumping up the speed each MPH on the wheel control. (Boom, boom, boom as you +1 mph for 3 times for example) Just checking if others experience these? Normal?
