  1. I really don’t want to go to the effort on the flapper but will try once more with screens all uncovered and once with all covered
  2. Yup. I called Flowmaster (Holley) and he said it’s because of the engine design in combination with a chambered muffler. I can’t win. Every time I change exhaust on a vehicle I end up redoing it. he suggested and I just ordered a Hooker VR304 3”-3” muffler (oval glass pack) you don’t hear much about them but what he said made sense… I have tried covering all, some and none of the 6 screen resonators with no gain yet…..
  3. I initially covered all 6 resonators with factory muffler and it was almost what I wanted. I preferred to buy the AFE Apollo muffler upgrade but it’s on back order. After a bunch of research and having an old version series 40 on my 1994 5.7 I ordered the SS version delta flow 40 series and had it installed and removed the flapper which I had wired open. With all 6 resonators covered it was a little loud with a little drone. Started uncovering resonators and now have 1.5 on each side covered. Now to why I posted this topic. Anyone else with this or another performance muffler notice a little blubbering/ rumbling on decel when below 1200 rpm?? If you hold the downshift and decel say at 2500-3000 it’s smooth until you down to a real low rpm then you can hear it burbling….. Seems strange to me. I don’t really like it… I also have a Range Pulsar. Thoughts??
  4. All great input. Thanks!
  5. I’ve had the Range Pulsar installed for about a month and had one glitch that was either unrelated or was from a bad connection (unplugged and plugged the Pulsar). Otherwise it’s great. I’d seriously miss the throttle sensitivity if I removed it….. my truck is a ‘19 with the 5.3 and 8 speed
  6. Range Technologies https://www.rangetechnology.com/products/start-stop_disabler/
  7. Couple nits…. Anyone else feel like the throttle and brake pedals are too different in height ? Steering wheel should come back another inch or so?
  8. How are you guys buying 8qts of oil? I intend to buy 3 5qt jugs plus 1 quart to have enough for two oil changes. Other options?
  9. Thank you Sir! Just exactly what I don’t have. Oh well as I really like the truck!
  10. What exactly does the Tech package include. I thought I had it as it has a ton of camera angles and other tech items but just checked and I have about everything else…. LTZ Convenience Package LTZ Convenience Package II LTZ Plus package Safety package I Safety package II Z71 off-road package I know my ‘19 Silverado is more Techie than my wife’s ‘19 Sierra Denali
  11. That makes sense and never saw that in all the research I did prior…..and since the turn was halogen I figured the marker would also. Thanks! Guess I have a couple spare Lasfit 7443’s……
  12. The upper. Supposedly a 7443
  13. Epoxy…? Really…? This?? It’s the only “thing” in the vicinity…
  14. I feel stupid but I can’t find the socket to replace the front park light bulb….? 2019 Silverado LTZ. I assume it has the same flat blade tab to twist CCW but the only thing I see is an oval shaped piece where it should be and it doesn’t want to turn…. color me dumb…
  15. Thank you GMCustomerservice. I will once Christmas is over.
  16. Bumping this. My 8spd reacted positively to a 2x drain and refill except it has the same issue as the OP. With old fluid it shifted erratically and RPM would vacillate about 100rpm at 60mph. Only issue with the truck now is the vibration above 3,000 RPM in second gear and only second. Love the truck but this is a little bothersome…
  17. Not as many miles but a couple months on a ‘19 5.3 8spd. zero issues. Love it!
  18. I am looking for a pinion seal driver and found one with 1.375 inside diameter. Anyone know if that is large enough to go over the pinion on a 9.5”?
  19. Lately (it seems) when I scroll to the information screen it defaults to the tire pressures rather than the last page. Typically Trip 1 for me. Normal?
  20. I highly recommend the Pulsar. The ability to increase throttle sensitivity is worth the additional coin. The DFM and auto stop delete works as they say. I’ve only ran it for a week but I am sold!!!
  21. I agree if it wasn’t under the powertrain warranty and I was doing it but got wise and checked and it’s covered…GM says to discard after removal…
  22. The nut on my 2019 Silverado (3.23 9.5 AAM) is peened into two grooves. I don’t see an easy way to un-peen it… what is the proper method to remove as the pinion seal leaks?? Thinking I’ll have the dealer do the repair but I don’t trust them as I have history….. I want to know the proper method plus if they will need to order the nut if it’s a one time use.
  23. Three screw ups here… 1) Forgot this was a Canadian model when I attempted to program a third remote. 2) Didn’t validate where exactly the program slot was located before starting the process thusly: 3) Put both working remote’s between the cup holders which is the programming location when I started the program mode. When I discovered I put the two working remotes in the programming location I quit the process. now the truck recognizes both remotes as #1……….. Google didn’t turn up anything similar and both local GM dealers looked at me with the “deer in the headlights look” BTW- now you can turn the drivers door lock 5 times CCW and it will not go into program mode…..Probably because it doesn’t see two separate remotes as both are recognized as driver 1. Not a huge deal except you can’t have to memory seat options…. I think both remotes will have to be deleted and start completely over. thoughts????
