  1. I have a 23 and this started at 42000miles. Finally got an appointment and the service bulletin didn't fix it. $175 diagnostic fee for today. If I want to replace the springs it is $1922 + tax + credit card fee. I am just wondering if the new springs will do it too! PS I do have extended warranty and they don't fix squeaks and rattles!
  2. Just an FYI, I had GoRecon nstalled in May of 24 and this is what they look like now!
  3. I think GM gives some wiggle room based on temp. I saw my recommended pressures were lower than the reprogrammed pressures my truck was set too in myGMC app.

  6. Are you in a 1/2 ton? Could it be different options for different models?
  7. Anyone running the Stillen cold air scoop? Do you have an opinion on it? Not sure I am sold on the idea but I do like tinkering with the truck. https://stillen.com/collections/intake/products/2020-2022-2500-3500-trupower-by-stillen-cold-air-intake-scoop-tp403502
  8. Is all of this with synthetic or conventional oil or both?
  9. @Randal Scottdid you ever get this? details? Edit: Why would you run this on a gasser if the intake doesn't take air from there?
  10. Running tires at the recommended pressures when not loaded just prematurely wears the tires. Usually, just the center. The only time I need max pressure is when pulling my tractor. Since I don't do that often, I don't care. The 1st thing I do when grabbing the tractor is checking all 8 tires truck/trailer. If you are worried about the tires going down with a load, turn on the tire screen. You can see my new settings on the pic. They crossed the front and rear numbers.
  11. I brought my truck to a local lift shop. Explained my feelings on ride being crappy, maybe running a leveling kit, and 35's. He told me if I never planned on doing more than 35s don't touch the suspension. Change the crappy Ranchos to Bilsteins, align the truck, and the heavier tire with a bigger front print will help hide our crappy roads. He also picked the tire. 295/65/20, Bilstein 5100s and a totally different riding truck. Finally got around to airing down the tires today to 50f 45r and this is a completely different truck. Side note my speedo was 1.5 to 2 mph slow with stock tires. In town it is now dead on! Sorry the ride is dirty! On hard right angled turns I thought I had some rubbing but it was only the wheel liner. I loosened it all up twisted it around and good to go!
  12. Thank you Sir!
  13. No ideas of where I can part diagrams of the front and rear fender wells on a 23?
  14. I have a 23 I bought in March. I am changing the tires and having it aligned by a reputable 4x4 customization shop tomorrow. I am also swapping the Rancho's for Bilsteins because I can't stand the ride . I'll update on the steering wheel being turned to the left after.
  15. I caught a Black Friday deal from Home Depot. I bought to high end 18v batteries and got a free tool. I chose the air compressor. I set the pressure and walk away. That will be with me on my hunting trips.
  16. Where can I get a drawing of the fenders and fender liners? I need part numbers for the following: push clip in front wheel cliner yellow clips these are center of the fender flares and bottom section of mud flaps The clips for the fender dlares Thanks
  17. I have been told over and over that the 295's will fit without a lift. We will find out next week! 295/65/20 Toyo RT trail
  18. You may want to do some homework. You may not need a leveling kit for that size. I should have 295/65/20's on mine next week. I am told and have read I don't need a leveling kit.
  19. I had a local shop recommended to me. I went on a busy day a few weeks ago and he never got back to me. Stopped in yesterday, explained to him I would never go 37's due to it being a gasser. I had kind of decided on 295/65/20 just not the tire. Also, this truck is rough. He recommended not to lift/level the truck. Put Bilstein's on all 4 corners, realign (and straighten the damn steering wheel), and he would go over the front end for anything wonky. He recommended Toyo RT Trails. None of this will be done until after Thanksgiving. I will post pics when done.
  20. Water drain holes?
  21. For the record, I was changing the UCA's either way. For some reason, this truck rides really rough to other 2020-2023 GMC or Chevy 2500's I have been in. Even commented on by others. My first thought was the gas engine is to light to dampen the suspension but all the PNs for my front end are correct. That shouldn't be the case. It does appear the dealer cranked the factory keys a tad and wondered if that may be the problem. Probably...maybe? After doing hours of reading and me being particular, I finally know what I want to do. I thought to raise the factory keys would have been applying a tension to the torsion bar. Evidently, that is not the case. My shock decision, and air pressure in tires are going to be my only fix. Thanks for the lesson @asilverblazer
  22. I am almost positive I am going to go 295/6020. Everything I want to do other than the tire size is improve the ride. Everything I have read, I can just slap the 295/6020 on the stock wheels and run like that. I still would like a little lift and a little rake. All that being said, I plan to go with a 3" /2" or a 3" / 1" kit. If I don't need the maximum lift of the new torsion keys, would this allow for less tension on the torsion bars and a softer ride? Or am I completely misunderstanding how torsion bars work?
  23. What 3" X 2" lift did you use? My search for a lift started due to an extremely rough ride. Even compared to other Chevy GMC 2500's. I was just going to jump into 35x12.50R20's,new wheels, change the shocks and be done. The more I thought about, I know I eventually want 35's and no taller. I also want a lift. I think the more economical thing to do is UCA's with a 3" x 2" lift, shocks, and keep the stock wheels and run 11.50" wide tires. If I went the original route, I would end up buying shocks twice. This way I may just buy tires now and the lift. If I fix the rough ride, I can always sell the stockers with the 11.5's and buy wheels and 12.50's later. Just not sure if the 11.5" tires will rub UCA's. There is so much conflicting info out there it is hard to tell. Do you have pics of your ride? I honestly think my torsion bars were cranked on by the dealership. I am hoping to just put enough tension on the lift keys to clear tires and have a little more rake than I do now. Hopefully, that decrease in tension helps the ride.
  24. I had Rams. It is amazing how far behind technology wise in a lot of things GM is compared to Ram and Ford. It is a bunch of tiny things and you learn as you go! Why does this take 3 steps and in Ford and Ram it was one.
  25. I am not an Iphone user. But wasn;t there a news article about the Iphone 15 and wireless charging? Here is an article that is Beemer specific. https://www.indiatvnews.com/technology/news/bmw-and-apple-collaborate-to-investigate-iphone-15-nfc-failures-in-car-chargers-2023-10-29-900160
