  1. Here is a list I start building. This is just kits with 3" to 3.5" in front. I was sold in the ReadyLift until I realized it doesn't fit 22+ because the front differential changed. 2nd would be BDS, but that's a lot of dough. Am I missing any in this range? Update: You can order the BDS kit without shocks if you call for $1030.00 3 to 35 lift kits.pdf
  2. Any abnormal wear running those on the stock rim? I feel the 12.50 would wear out the center on the stock rim.
  3. No matter how much I read about how that is correct, I can't make my head wrap around it. To me that gives you maybe 2 inches of upward travel at the wheel.
  4. Bumping this back up! Anyone running 35's on the stock 20's? Any issues? How much and what lift did you use?
  5. I don't know if they changed or not but you are comparing a 2018 to 2020+. That could be the difference you are seeing.
  6. In another thread I was asked about compression of bump stops. Here is what they look like in level ground. This looks okay to me. Thoughts?
  7. Have you tried Boost Auto? They may have a way
  8. Torsion bar PN is correct. When I went to get this PN, it looks like a pipe wrench was put on the torsion bar stickers. Rear leafs correct over load spring gap looks correct. Then I decided to measure my heights: Filled up this morning. Measured form center hub to fender and floor to fender. Drivers side Front: Hub: 24" Floor : 40 1/4" Drivers Side rear: Hub25 1/2" Floor: 41 5/16" Rake: 1.062" Passenger side: Front Hub: 24 7/16" Floor: 40 3/8" Rear: Hub: 25 5/8" Floor: 41 9/16" Rake: 1.187" Is it safe to assume the dealership leveled this by cranking the torsion bars? Or is this the right amount of rake? Seems very little for a 3/4 ton. If the dealership did crank the torsion bars, nothing else was change. This is probably the issue. Thoughts?
  9. I would have never said anything, until I rode in a high country with a diesel. On the same roads I am getting beat up on, that High Country was smooth. I expected this truck to be rougher than my plush Ram 1500.
  10. Neither of those are listed on the sticker. FGAWR is 4800lbs.
  11. I have owned or driven several 3/4 tons over the years. At my core I am a Ram person, and the last Ram 2500 I owned was a 14 gasser with coil spring rear end. I have a SRW F350 diesel 8' bed and a 16 SB Ram 2500 diesel at my disposal to drive everyday. I have noticed my truck is rough but attributed it to short bed and leaf springs. Recently, hopped in my buddies 21 High Country 2500 Diesel and it was way smoother than my AT4. Then I had a couple of customers in the truck for lunch. One a F250 Platinum diesel driver the other a Chevy 2500 diesel owner. Both asked what I have done to my truck to make it ride so rough. My wife routinely gasps from driving down main drag in our town from hitting standard bumps in the road. Granted I live in Louisiana and our bumps are probably not accepted in other states. I am on the factory Goo Years and only have 10.6k miles. I needed the 2500 for the ground clearance while pulling a tractor. I really don't travel far enough most days to get a diesel to temperatures. Yesterday I got under the truck and didn't notice anything out of place or wrong. As soon as I bought the truck, I had them lower the TPMS threshold to 40 rear and 45 front. I routinely run them 50psi front and 45psi in rear. There was no need to wear out the middle of tires or run that much pressure not pulling anything. Could GMC only run 1 front suspension set up and I am feeling this because I am in a lighter gas motor and transmission? I know this will never be as smooth as a coil spring truck. I just can;t believe it is that much rougher than the diesels. Any idea what I should be looking for to mitigate this? I have been researching lift kits. Any recommendation on a set up to fit 35x12.50 that would also help with ride?
  12. 12.5" with new wheels probably! There are kits that are just keys and shock spacers but that isn't correct either. I understand UCA's, new shocks (not extensions), diff spacers, sway bar spacers ......I am just not sure where to stop.
  13. I have been doing a bunch of reading. It is kind of crazy, I will have to lift this truck more than my 16 1500 Ram to fit 35's. If I am over thinking any of this, please let me know. At 3" to 4" of lift UCA's are a must. What about differential spacers, sway bar spacers, heavy duty tie rod ends? Necessary? If all of those things should be changed then you are going FabTech or ReadyLift. The ReadyLift is not currently available for 2022+ trucks due to fins on the differential. If I take out the tie rods ends, I can add Zone and another lift in the mix. Again, Am I overthinking this or the more of these items I change now the less trouble I will have later? What brand is more reputable than the other? https://fabtechmotorsports.com/product/4-lift-kit-stealth-shocks-k1200m/ https://www.readylift.com/3-5-sst-lift-kit-front-with-2-rear-with-fabricated-control-arms-and-falcon-1-1-monotube-shocks-gm-silverado-sierra-2500hd-2020-2022.html#gallery-prev-area
  14. What is a good website to view pictures of different lifts, tire size, and wheel back spacing?
  15. I am trying to find a 3" or 3.5" lift kit that retains factory rake. I am in a gasser, so I am already going to sit higher in the front than a diesel. Any ideas on which one would do this, pictures on the web are deceiving. Thanks!
  16. I changed it on my 23....No change in MPG or seat in the pants! My ears do like it though!
  17. Anyone have a solution to remove the yellow cab light and replace with white or smoked? Thanks!
  18. I ended up calling MBRP and begging them to put a black exhaust tip in a kit. . They wouldn't do that because they are already packaged. They did give me a better price than offered online. My CC was hit for $1022.00 and once it comes in i get to request a $150 rebate. That isn't a bad deal for T304.
  19. It could be because I am new to GM but I can't find a single out SS exhaust with a black tip for $1000.00. That being said, AFE makes one but there are reports of bad drone and I have confirmed this through AFE. They have only sold about 50 of those and about 10 have had complaints. The person I was contact with confirmed those 10 are legit bad in the cab. Gibson makes one but only has them listed for crew cab long bed. I have e-mailed multiple times and called over the last 2 weeks, I have gotten 0 response. Here is the link to the Gibson, I really like the look. Gibson Performance Exhaust - Cat-Back Black Elite Single Exhaust System, Stainless#616517B exhaust systems, Gibson exhaust, Cat-back exhaust, performance exhaust gibsonperformance.com If you can find one with reviews, please post here.
  20. I have been i Ram's since 03. Those forums are so busy! Either I bought the least purchased vehicle or GMC people don;t mod. I have joined 4 other forums and still no answer! LOL!
  21. Anyone running an exhaust that doesn't have drone? Any chance someone running the AFE has a pic of how the exhaust tip looks installed?
  22. Did y'all get them installed? Do you have pics and or vids? Thanks!
