Looking to buy a used Sierra 2500 (diesel) for towing 5th wheel / boat. I'll be putting less than 5k miles a year on it. - Any specific years to avoid? - I've read that Duramax can last 400k + miles but I am sure not all of them last that long (depends on regular maintenance, etc.). What is a good sweet spot to target as far as age/milage? I'd like to get about 50k miles out of it before I have to start fixing a bunch of stuff. - I worry if I go too old/high milage at some point I am just trading a lower initial cost vs. higher maintenance costs when inevitably things have worn out and need to be replaced.
